Levels Won't Load

In Walking Dead season 2 when I went to import my save it said I only finished episode 4 and 400 days, then when it showed the previously on scenes my Lee was making decisions I didn't make in episode 5. So I loaded up season one and went to rewind and finish episode 5 again, however when I went to play the screen just went dark with my pointer on screen that I could move. The level wouldn't load. The only way to exit was to power my mac laptop off, and I tried several times. I literally just finished 400 days earlier today so it was working fine then. So I just went back to season 2 but now it says I only finished episode 4, not even 400 days now. Pleas help hopefully to fix my issue with season 1, or to import my choices some other way.

I apologize for the inconvenience. After looking over your support tool information, it appears that you have a few extra prefs.prop files. Please try renaming the following prefs.prop files in

    /Users/holdenhegmann/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/The Walking Dead/TheWalkingDead.app/Contents/Resources/Pack/WalkingDead105/

    and

    /Users/holdenhegmann/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/The Walking Dead/TheWalkingDead.app/Contents/Resources/Pack/WalkingDead103/

to prefs.prop.bak to disable them, then restart the game, and your save files should be restored. (Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and make sure you have renamed the prefs.prop files to prefs.prop.bak)

Then restart the game, and your save files should be restored.
