Downloading Walking Dead-S2 from steam problem
Hello! I hope this is where I post this, I have been trying to download The Walking Dead-Season 2 from steam on my computer for the last couple of days and I keep getting the same message "an error occurred while updating the Walking Dead: Season 2 (download corrupt). I have tried a few different things to get this to work and so far none of them have worked.
I have tried
-Deleting already downloaded game files and starting from beginning
-checking my internet connection settings
-re installing steam
-running steam as administrator
-checking integrity of files
-turning off my anti virus
I'm not sure what else to do. If there is anything that I missed please let me know, I would really like to play this game!

I apologize for the inconvenience. Below are a few possible solutions (You may have tried a few, but I will post all of the potential solutions below to resolve your issue):
1) Ensure you have the latest drivers for both your graphics card, and your computer’s BIOS
2) Restart your system
3) Unplug your gamepad (and all other USB devices other than keyboard/mouse) and plug in headphones to the audio out jack.
4) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
5) Run the game as admin
6) Run the game in compatibility mode (right click on game’s icon, click properties, click compatibility tab , and we recommend running the game in Windows 98/ME ) (We recommend Windows 98/ME)
7) Reinstall the game
8) Make sure that the Steam application is not set to a compatibility mode (right click on steam and click properties, then check compatibility, and make sure that it is not checked to play in a different OS)
9) Disable Steam Overlay, if you purchased through Steam (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3168263)
10) Opt out of the Steam Beta, if you purchased through Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828934424165581080/)
11) Disable any anti-virus or internet firewall programs open and running that may be blocking the game's access to our servers.
Hello again, thanks for the speedy response!! I tried all of these and still have had no success, I updated all my drivers and BIOS, restarted my computer, Checked the catch, I wasn't able to run the game as admin, or in compatibility mode because I haven't been able to download the game, I have deleted all walking dead game files at least 3 or 4 times, steam is not in compatibility mode, overlay has been disabled, I opted out of beta, and disabled my anti-virus. I then tried to download it again and this time it went straight to "an error occurred while updating The Walking Dead: season two (download corrupt). Is there anything else that I can try to get this game downloaded?
You can also try changing the download region from which your update is coming from inside Steam. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.

When I tried to re-install the game it would not accept the activation code.
After you have activated the game on our website, you will be able to re-download the installer at any time by going to your My Games page, and going to The Walking Dead, then clicking on the download link. You can get to your My Games page by clicking on the small downward facing arrow on the top right of the webpage, and clicking My Games from the drop down menu.
