Please try starting the game in a Compatibility Mode (Right click on game’s icon, click properties, click compatibility tab , and we recommend running the game in Windows 98/ME ) and see if you are able to start the game successfully.
The game does not start. The same error. I checked the integrity of the cache. Tried to reinstall the game. Nothing helps.
After looking over your support tool again, there does not seem to be a proper file directory set up for Season Two. Please try uninstalling the game, and reinstalling it from Steam, and it should create the proper file directory for the game. (To delete a game from Steam, please open your Steam Library, and right click on The Walking Dead: Season Two. Then click Delete Local Content from the drop down list, and it will uninstall. Then after the uninstall has completed, restart the Steam Client, and go back to your Steam Library, and click on The Walking Dead: Season Two. You should then see Install inside the game's window in your Steam Library. Click Install, and the game should install, and properly set up your file directory.
