I would say start watching TWD, only because it's current and everyone is talking about it. It will take you awhile to catch up though. The next GoT season isn't for awhile, so you should watch that after so you can be closer to the next season premiere.
Yeah, I was originally going to start with TWD. I was planning on watching it before the season started, but I had no clue it was starting so soon. I kind of gave up on the idea of catching up. Maybe its still reasonably possible though. I've been too lazy to look into how much time it would take me in order to get caught up.
