Well, YOLO sounds like, "because you only live once, you have to do all the things you enjoy."
If my impression of YOLO is correct, then YOLO supports satisfying self desires. Kinda like me me me me me. (If it doesn't, then just ignore the tiny rant below xD)
Life to me isn't just about enjoying stuff, you can enjoy a lot of things, but a lot of things can make you hate yourself, life, everything. Enjoyment can slip out of your fingers within the next week, day, or hour. Enjoyment may not come to someone at all or at rare times, I know someone who's depressed all the time because he lives in such a terrible environment. Mentioned him before.
So to me, YOLO = Self satisfaction. Self satisfaction = happiness.
Having no self satisfaction = depression. Depression% = %chance of suicidal thoughts.
%chance of suicidal thoughts = %chance of suicide attempts.
Then again, YOLO could also mean, "You only live once, so live for what you think is best."
But again, if it all comes down to our thoughts and action, then 80% of the time we would, unconsciously or consciously, choose ourselves or think of ourselves before others. That's just sinful human nature.
So... Selfishness + Personality + Circumstance = %chance of regret or guilt. Regret or guilt = depression. Depression% = %chance of suicidal thoughts. %chance of suicidal thoughts = %chance of suicidal attempts
I dunno what I'm saying now, but it sounds smart so I'll go with it.
