Translation Subtitles?
Hi Everybody !
I was wondering if the subtitles of TWAU were translated (into French) ?
Because I'm a bit lost :
- for TWD season 1, they were (Voices : English ; Subtitles : French available (which is good enough for me since i'm watching all the movies and tv shows that way)) ;
- for TWD season 2, they weren't (voices AND Subtitles : English only) : i had to use a fan-made translation (which was very good, btw)
So what about TWAU?
I can understand quiet well english but i'm not fluent enough to make decisions in english quickly enough (time ot read and understand since it's not my mothertongue) like the game requires us to do... I could use the fan-made subtitles but for now they are not available for episodes 4 and 5...
I find it bad that you don't translate the subtitles into -at least- French and German (as many other games do), since a lot of people would have been interested into your games but can't play since it's not translated... You could have a lot more players if you do translate your games (which are very good btw)

EDIT : I saw the same question for Spanish and so the answer about the subtitles : ENGLISH ONLY. I still can't understand why was TWD season 1 translated and not TWD season 2 and TWAU... I'm still pretty upset with TTG for not translating there amazing games for people who don't have english as their mothertongue, which are : a lot of people (and so potential buyers !)....And especially for games which are interesting and well known especially for their stories !
But anyway, you can either delete or lock this thread. And i apologise for the useless thread (since the question was already asked).

Totally agree with Bizit, we need subtitles!!! Will there be a patch with the release of the retail Versions? Are there any News?
The console versions (PS3, PS4, 360, XB1) of The Walking Dead: Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us have all been updated to include French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles. If you own the digital version on PS3 or Xbox 360, you will need to launch the game while being online to receive the available update.

I will not buy this game if there are no subtitles in French.

I need the german subtitle from Steam-Version. I will buy all Games (TWD Season 2 und The Wolf Among Us), but only if there are subtitles for the steam version. In the retail exist german subtitel, but why not in steam version.
I hope you update this, because i will play this game :-(
any news when or if not, why not german subtitles are being added to the steam version of walking dead season 2 and wolf among us. I would instantly buy those if they have german subs like the retail-versions which are out for quite some time now... so it would be easy for you to just patch them in, wouldn't it?

You say this all the time... same text, changing the name of the game only. We are not asking for a justification. We are asking for a conversation! Really? Is that so expensive to contract a team to do this translations??? I get a team for you just for $1.000 bucks!
