Here's my response to people whom make threads about leaving. A post and a thread, are very different.
Seriously. I can get if so… moremeone wants to leave because people are being mean. Really, I do. I almost left for a while, and in fact I did take a break from the forums. But did I post a thread about it and get the community involved in a drama fest? Is that really necessary? And then after the people post the thread, after a few posts from people, they decide, "Oh wait nevermind I'll stay!" Wait, so the attention people gave you for threatening to leave made you stay?
I have been seeing a lot of people leaving lately, and the people who leave discreetly vs. the people who make drama threads are very different.

Sometimes it's not always the people on the forums who force others to leave. For me, it's my outside life. I've got a lot going on, and lik… moree I said, I want to come back. And I totally understand what you mean. I'm sad when anybody announces they are leaving. But when they post a thread about it, and drag it out, it's not really them leaving to me. It's them trying to rile up others to get someone to beg them not to go. I don't expect anyone to beg me not to leave, and I'm totally fine with that. Doesn't mean I don't have people who don't care about me on the forums.

I know what ya' mean girl. If I felt that the forums were so toxic I would make a thread about leaving because this place is very unwelcoming and I was turned off by the community in whole. But the community is a good one as far as I can tell, so I wouldn't do that since I am taking a break.
It's not just the situation today, I just skimmed through that. There were two other big threads about it when the forums were at their climax of Jane v. Kenny hate. I held my tongue because it seemed the people had real problems with the forums.

But some people need to stop making such a big deal about what just occurred. It was a little bit of drama, just… more brush it off and keep commenting. I don't see it being that big of a deal where they need to take a break. (I'm referring to the Ellias situation.)

I get paper cuts for everything bro. Ive gotten it from chip bags, paper, cardboard from cracker box. Just last week I was opening the foil from the cream cheese and I got a paper cut, first one in a year actually. Stung like a bitch.
