because crane isn't meant to come back to fabletown where do you think the crooked man sent him? to paris where he is in the comic and it is safe to assume he never came back i don't see how he would be involved in season 2 in anyway
That's an easy thing to get around. What if Crane never left? When he heard that the Crooked Man and Bloody Mary were out of the picture he tried to make a subtle return to Fabletown. After the events that follow, he ends up in Paris where Cinderella does something to him(I can't remember what, it's been a while since I read the early Fables). The point is, I think a Season 2 is very possible and am hoping that these tweets turn out to be more than just "next-gen" ads.

Why wouldn't they mention Crane? I've read the comics but I don't see how Cranes mentioning would affect a prequel to the comics.

I honestly don't think it is a season 2. not yet anyways I think it will be dlc. Then we will get season 2 once Borderlands and GOT is over.
