I have a feeling they are gonna somehow quickly get rid of Brandish and concentrate on Snow vs Rose conflict more towards the final issues (since that's what they did with Spratt, though I could be wrong).
But I always wanted to have Bigby beat (And possibly kill) Brandish, since Brandish was just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpowered in their first encounter (Magic sword with hundreds of spells, magic deflective spell for damage, and no heart in his body? Sheesh.....Talk about overkill).
Ever since the release of the #149 cover, I have been saying if Rose somehow tries to use Bigby against Snow, it will be an all new low for her (their relationship has always been rocky, but that's seriously messed up. And she just put on the ring without hesitation in #146) and wouldn't really be sad even if she ends up redeeming herself later at the end (e.g. sacrifices herself for Snow etc).
This is probably because even from the beginning, Rose was never one of those likable characters for me....There was no attachment towards the character like I have (or had) for Bigby, Snow, Charming, Boy Blue, Beauty, Beast, Cinderella etc, etc (well majority of Fabletown main cast I guess)
For me, at best, Rose was just tolerable, and majority of times she was annoying, and I'd guess the worst part may be decided upon her actions in #149.
And i thought that Weyland's first death was a shock.... Man, I mean we all saw that coming knowing that Brandish is a scum. But the thing t… morehat bothers me is that, Rose doesn't know about his death and she cleared stated that she wants to use Bigby to kill someone. Now, the thing is.... Who?
Do we all think that Rose is capable to use Bigby against Snow? I mean, Snow and Roses' relationship wasn't always - specially now - the best, but this would be a new low. And the reveal of this cover now only proves that - even if the "make-out session" doesn't happen - maybe Rose is thinking about doing something messed up.
Man..... TOO MANY THOUGHTS AND CONSPIRACY THEORIES
Can I add to your point by saying that Issue 150 is going to be 150 pages long! That's roughly 5-6 issues in just 1; so what could possibly fill all that space?

This is pure guessing... But maybe the future of the cubs. The prophecy has such potencial that it would be a shame not to explore the rest of the story.
I think that the Fables Universe has so many unanswered questions - Snow and Rose's mother, Winter as the North Wind, Rapunzel's twins - that a lot can happen in the issue 150.

I have the same feelings about Rose, I never liked her and i always saw her as a wild card in the other characters story - Snow and Blue's. And I think it was very ironic that, for a time, Rose was portrayed as the new hero with this Camelot plot.
Is it just me, or Rose is not doing a very good job at this "Second Chance" thing?

Well maybe Willingham will return to the series at some point in the future... I feel that we need a break before we delve more into the series that way. Maybe IF Bill returns to Fables he can give us some adventures with the cubs/Bliss all grown up!

Well, considering Happily Ever After (Volume 21) is only until #149 (#141 ~ #149), I'm not surprised #150 is that long.
(Mr.) Willingham will cover basically everything I guess. He'll tie up all loose ends for main stories (I don't think he'll leave any stones unturned), and any untold last stories etc (remember we didn't get the Hansel and Gretel last story in #146, so who knows? We may get that story in Volume 22 among some others).
I have a feeling Volume 22 (still no word on the title - wonder what it will be?) will be packed full of additional content on top of the main story (such as readers' questions etc).

I was never really convinced even from beginning of this arc that she would be the Hero (despite her being shown Golden and Snow being shown to be black).
Well, she was stupid enough to give Brandish a second chance even though he was a irredeemable scum, so that gives clear insight of her judgment of character.

Really? All the interviews that i saw he said that the Fables series will definitely end in the 150 issue, so he can focus now in the spin-offs and other projects.
I have read some interviews where he has said that it will be up to the fans if he wants to return OR he will leave the door open a crack if he comes up with more stories for the charcters... in one interview he said that his editor Shelly Bond keeps coming up with ideas for Original Graphic Novels and that she will probably come through with them.

SPOILER FABLES 146
5did anyone ever think about the ring that controls bigly….. rose red had it and in fables 146 and mentioned why she now knows "why snow got all wet for him"
I really hope that this cover is just Rose's fantasy of her and Bigby in her mind. I never cared for Rose's character to begin with, but I tolerated her throughout the series. But after her actions in the recent issues, I just really want her to become Bigby food.

Really? 150 pages long? I think that's way longer that Werewolves at the Heartland, isn't it?
Me too, dude. I really need to stop looking at these things until the damn thing comes out. Not good for my weak heart. xD

Rose is asked by the spirit that looks like Boy Blue if she can bring the dead back to life; maybe that is her second chance?

It'll probably be called The End. But I still stand by Willingham's comments that he MAY return to Fables at some point in the future..
Yes!! It would be awesome to see Fabletown and the Farm in the future...

I feel that, with all her mistakes, she is probably into her's 55th chance....

My thoughts exactly!
No preview yet? I am surprised as it is usually out for other issues by now.
It comes out today (the preview) I'll check for it as the day goes on and if I find it, I will make a thread
God bless you, Hazz for what you might read.
Ha! Thnx
It's 11;38am in England right now... I will guess that when it reaches about 2;00pm over here, the preview will get posted
I'm not ready....:( Hopefully, its all a REALLY bad dream!
The next episode is coming this Wednesday so we will see what happens.
Oh god.
I still haven't found a preview for 149
It was supposed to come out today...
I guess they are trying to keep it a suprise.
I guarantee that tomorrow morning the preview will be up and the time stamp will say it got posted on 16/2 at some time in the morning :P
Hopefully
When I find that elusive fucking preview... I will link it and tell you what it is as well
Agreed.
The penultimate issue better not be more filler!
If it is filler then it better be GOOD filler!! Like whatever the hell Grimble is doing. Also when is Cindy going to kill Frau?!
After seeing the cover again...
We'll be waiting for your signal... with fear, so much fear!!!
I made a thread about it...
The preview did get posted, but it wasn't Fables this time around :'/
It'd be hilarious if we didn't get a preview after THIS cover...
Ohh c'mon!!! The suspense is killing me, i need to know what it's going to happen in this issue...
Well on the other hand, i don't know if my heart is ready to see this RosexBigby "thing that should not be named".
