Feels like I just threw 20€ to the trash can since I really can't figure out what is wrong.
And yes, It's on steam.
If you're on Steam, try this:
Go to your games library > 'Right click' on the game > 'Properties' > 'Local Files' > 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'

I have the same Issue, but I heard the voices while I was playing a few days ago. Today, I wanted to start the game again, and the Voice was gone. I have no Idea how to fix it, but maybe TTG will patch this soon.
I dont always play with my headset. Sure, it solves the Problem, and its not really a big deal to plug it in, but this Issue should be fixed anyway (especially since it does only solve the problem for me, and not for Spiritfern).

What platform are you experiencing this on? I can move this to the proper support forum to get you better help there based on what console you are using.

I have voice acting, but the audio levels seem screwed up. Any sort of background sounds or rise in the music, the voice acting becomes very difficult to hear. The other sounds take over.
If you are experiencing any issues with sound, please try the fix that another player found by switching the sound settings below:

Everything in game is 10 and every sound I hear loud and clear. But not the voice acting.
Only the voice acting is missing completely
Uninstall and then reinstall.
Also have done that twice now.
No other Telltale Game has done same thing to me.

I have the same problem. Reinstalled it about 4 times , and it didn't help. Searched the web to know wtf is wrong and still nothing.
If you're on Steam, try this:

Addition: When I play the Game with my Headset, everything seems to be normal, and I can hear the Voices.
Then play with your headset, problem solved!
