iOS game saves

I was looking through discussions and maybe I missed it, but here is my question/suggestion.

This game takes up space. My game save is 1.2GB in size. I like to clear my iPad out when I'm done with something to make room for other things. If I kept everything on it, I would miss out on system updates and other games of equal size.

Have the developers of this app considered cloud based save files that new games could reference? If not, would it be possible to have some sort of ability to do it in a matter where you can save game progress to go between devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod)? This way when someone need to restore a device and setup as new, then the don't lose their data. The reason behind this is because some people have system wide issues but refuse to fix them with a restore of the device because they will lose their game data. This is true when individuals can't restore from a backup because of system wide software corruption. Restoring an iOS device and then installing a backup would only continue the problem. All this because you want enjoy this game.

I know that I'd like to restore my device, but with this game tracking progress and being the key to the next season I can't because of local game saves. Furthermore I can't even remove it to clear up space in general. Being able to save to iCloud or iCloud Drive, would be fantastic. This way I can save a game then install it on my iPhone 6 plus and confirm my game progress, then do what I need on my iPad. Re-install the game, confirm my progress, and continue on. This is ideal and the way it should be done.

At this point the game almost feels like bloatware as it has to stay on or else you lose that precious data that makes these games great. I love this game, so much that I would sacrifice the functionality of the rest of the device... It just shouldn't be that way.

In any case, maybe there is a solid solution for this that I didn't know about, so please inform me and I don't mean a work around... A solid solution.

Thank you for your feedback, I will make sure to pass your feedback for Cloud Saving support along to the team! After you have completed Season Two, you can delete Episodes 2-5 to free up some space on your device, as the save files are stored within the base game application of Season Two (Episode 1). You will only need the base game application in order for your save files to be stored. At this time, this is the way to free up space after you have completed a season of The Walking Dead and want to keep your save files on the device.
