Thanks to a silly mistake, I cannot access the GoT content on the website

So the first time I entered the Game of Thrones section of the Telltale games website, I was, obviously, asked for my birthdate. Now, unfortunately I ended up entering the date the British way (29/09/1996) leading the website to prompt that 24 was not a valid number. In my haste and laziness and I quickly changed 29 to 12 and hit enter, just as I realized my mistake.

Now I cannot enter the website. Each time I reload, its just the same message that I can't access the content.

  • Not to sound mean but you actually took the time to enter your birth date? I usually always put my birthday as January first and then the earliest year I can put it as, like 1901 or something :P

  • Log out and back in.

If that does not work, use your browser settings to clear your "Age_Gate" cookies for the Telltale Games site.

  • I tend to get guilty about lying about my birth date, as silly as that sounds xD

Then again, I feel guilty about killing random guards in most video games, so I guess its kinda expected for me.

I'll try that immediately. Thanks a bunch!

EDIT: It worked! Thanks for the help!

  • Delete the cookies that should work

  • It's just supposed to be a basic way to check whether or not you are over 18.

As long as you are genuinely over 18, your birthdate is not important and you don't have to feel guilty over entering a fake date.
