The Walking Dead S2 E3 won't load (Steam, PC)

So I've tried tons of stuff to make Season 2 Episode 3 of The Walking Dead load, but it won't. It says "Coming Soon" for Episodes 3-5, and I've definitely played through Episodes 1 and 2 to completion. I've run the TWD Support Tool, and here's the link: https://www.sendspace.com/file/9gg5fl

    Can you please clarify if you can access your save files by going to the main menu, and opening the Save Files menu, or does the game become stuck when accessing the Save Files menu?

  • I can access the Save Files Menu. There are two save files there, both denoted as "Episode Not Installed"

    I apologize for the inconvenience. After looking over your support tool information, there doesn't seem to be an issue with your file structure. We have received a small amount of reports from players experiencing a similar issue. We are currently looking into the issue, and hope to have a resolution in the near future. In order to be able to play right now, I recommend deleting one of the save slots from your game's file directory, and see if you are then able to access your saves successfully. To do this, please go to the following file directory:

    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead Season Two\

    Then delete all of the files associated with a save slot. (The files with saveslot2, saveslot3, or saveslot4 in the name) Then restart the game, and see if you are able to access your saves in your other save slots in-game. Again, my apologies for any difficulties this may cause you.

  • Unfortunately, this didn't work. I had two save slots, and either way it didn't work. It's still showing up as "Coming Soon" for Episode 3.

    My apologies, please also try changing the download region from which your update is coming from. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.
