Vita Won't Load Season 1 - Followed All Instructions and Tried Multiple Times
Hey, everyone!
I've searched everywhere but I can't seem to find something that works.
I purchased and played Season 1 (retail) last winter. I then saved my save to Online storage and removed the came from my Vita.
Now, I've purchased Season 2 (retail). I then reinstalled Season 1 and downloaded my save. After that, I tried the import tool. I follow the instructions and have tried multiple times but I always get the "Could not find saved data on the PS Vita card that can be used with this application."
Both are the same region, so that's not the problem.
Has anyone figured this out? I'd really like to continue the game I played.
Thanks!
-Eric

I sincerely apologize for the difficulties. If you are unable to import your save files using the Live Area function, can you please clarify if you have tried starting Season Two, selecting Play, then choosing a save slot? Season Two will then begin the process of finding your save files, and importing the game saves automatically.
Mike:
Will there be any indication that it's doing so? I tried that and maybe it worked? What will it display to indicate it's doing that?
Under Save Files all 4 slots are empty, but when I click Play, it says "Updating Content" and then "Loading Save File - File 1." Next, I'm on the Chapter Select screen.
Does that mean it loaded my Save properly?
Thanks!
My apologies, if you did not receive an import saves page, it may not have imported anything. Can you please clarify what the Ratings on the front of both of your game cases, say?
Hey, Mike! Both are rated M: Mature 17+. I did notice that Season 1 says Region 1 and Season 2 says Region All. Both were bought at Amazon.com. Dis that help?
I was having the import issue as well. Using:
Importing from live screen did not work, and neither did in-game import. I was also receiving a 'could not save' error on booting up game, and twice had the game crash on continuing from the game's start screen.
I found I had an unplayed demo of season 2 on my memory card. I deleted that but it did not resolve issues. Finally, I deleted my entire game file, removed the game card, re-inserted the game card, and let it re-install.
I still was not able to import save from live screen, but the game now started without errors. On starting chapter 1 of season 2, the option to import my save file now functioned, and I can now continue my game where I left off with season 1.
Hope this helps others that are having troubles
Thank you for providing the extra information on how you were able to resolve your issue. I will make sure to pass it along to the team!
Lonny: We're you using the retail version or a digital download? Thanks!
I believe he was using physical retail copies of both games. Can you please clarify if @LonneyMcD workaround works for you to be able to see your saves?
I was using:
Awesome. Thanks! I'm give it a try this afternoon when I'm home.
That worked! Thanks so much.
@TelltaleMike: You may want to update those pinned instructions because this is much simpler and totally different.
Thanks again all!
