If a Fables TV show was ever made would you want TWAU story arc to be included?
would you want the twau story arc to be included? i think if so that would mean that the series would have to start off with twau and once that is done go onto the main stories personally i wouldn't mind and since there is a comic now they sort of have a template of what choices would be made but then again twau one of the many prequels/spin offs for fables so idk

Perhaps some brief mentions of things that happened in TWAU that were non-determinant. But as to things that happened as a result of people's choices, no, because you'll have some people that would say, "Oh but I didn't get that in my game so it doesn't make sense," and other crap like that. Allude to things that happen no matter what, but not to things that happened based on your choices.
Yup. If they ever make a Show based on Fables, I'd honestly want it to be called the Wolf Among us and included the Wolf Among us Arc. But when it reaches the comics Id want them to stay to the comics and not go off track like Walking Dead
that is why i mentioned that twau comic they are making from what i heard they are choosing the choices that would best suit comic bigby which if this ever happened they could just use that but then again people might still complain
I pointed out on another thread that they had to go off track with the TV series of TWD becuase there is content in the comics that would get the show banned, even Robert Kirkman admitted to this in an interview...
I think if they make a TV series then they should do the entirety of Fables, TWAU and it's spin-offs IN ORDER. That way we get a solid timeline to go on and ppl will know what goes where within the Fables timeline as a whole. Maybe include 'missing scenes' into the series as well like:
Maybe as spinoff 8 or 10 episode season or something. Sort of like what they are doing with the Agent Carter spinoff from Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. For the actual show, than I would want them to stick to the comics.
I actually think if they were planning on making a movie for FABLES, they should base it off of Wolf Among Us. It's practically written for a story, plus it could gain a lot of popularity for the game.
My friend, they ARE making a movie for Fables, it's about to begin production I think...
Taken from the Fables comic wikipedia page: Warner Bros. is developing a live action Fables film with David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford producing, Jeremy Slater writing and Nikolaj Arcel directing
I meant things like the Beth story. Just stick to the comics main story
I hope they dont base the movie on the comics. It should take place during the comics or something, but If they base it on the comics I really dont think it will come out well
They should include at least some of the spin-offs, some of them further the main story after all...
If they base it on the comics they will have to rush everything. They should make a stand alone story, but one that also follows aspects of the comic like say the relationship between Bigby and Snow or mention of the Adversary (for some reason I don't have high hopes for this film but we'll see)
Yeah thats what I was trying to say :P
I'm fine with a Fables movie as long as they dont go following the comics story line because it would just butcher it.
Sorry, should have read more carefully, didn't see that in there. In that case, if they did the choices that fit Bigby, then yes, they should include TWAU storyline. And also, is it going to be a show? I know they tried in the past but failed, I thought it was going to be a movie?
Metallica DOES rule! Sorry I had to say that, it would be crime for me not to...
Further down on this thread I mention the film; it is being made but there is no news of it's development or cast as of yet.
So they are making a movie, I can assure you I will be seeing that the first week it's out.
I don't have high hopes for the film, probably because I've never heard of the director and Willingham isn't a consultant (I don't think he is at least)
