Perhabs a dumb question: But what happens if I'm not home when my order arrives?

Hi,

I ordered a bunch (all) of the available Sam & Max games and the Monkey Island games + a Collectors Edition DVD of Sam & Max Season II and A bonus DVD for Season I of Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island. The 3 last mentioned is to be delivered via courier service (I live in Denmark). But what happens if I'm not home when they arrive? I can see they were send August 3on my Purchases in My Telltale section. Hope this makes sense

Regards,
Rasmus Bertelsen

    Telltale doesn't have any control over what happens to your package after it ships out. Does your postal service tend to leave packages at your doorstep if you're not home? If yes, then that's probably what'll happen. If you're worried about it you should ask your mail carrier.

    (Also, international orders can take 4-6 weeks to arrive, so you probably don't have to worry just yet.)

    Can only speak for services in the United Kingdom here, but they usually either leave it somewhere hidden around your house(In a bin if its empty, behind a flowerpot or whereever), leave it next door, take it back to their warehouse for you to collect if its near by, or they'll re deliver it another day they'll usually post a card through your mail box saying where they've put it. I doubt it would be any different in Denmark. It also shouldn't be any different than anything else you've had delivered by mail in the past.

    I think 4-6 Weeks is a good time to calculate for international shipping. My Sam&Max Discs have been sent on 24th July by Telltale, and they are not here yet. Guess it just takes that amount of time to deliver em to Austria.

    If you are not at home, the package service will leave a sheet at your door, usually with a Telephone Number you can call to tell them at what time they should deliver it.

    At least this has been the case on my International Orders so far.

    @Rasmus
    I'm from denmark too, and usually the mailman leaves this little slip, where it states, that the package will be at the postoffice, but you'll have to claim it within 8 days.
    There should be a specific last date on it :)

    Oops, didn't see this was about a courier. Disregard my reply, lol
