Transfer Save : PS3 to PS4 ?

PS3 : The Walking Dead - Season 1 (Disc - Region 2)

PS4 : The Walking Dead - Season 2 (Disc - Region 4) v1.01

I have completed S1 and read that you can import your save file to S2 ? When I started S2 there was no option and/or instructions on how to do this. I am a "Playstation Plus Member" so I copied my S1 file to the Cloud Storage, when starting S2 and selecting a new game it says that the save game couldn't be found. I also tried to copy the S1 save file to a USB key but couldn't because the save file shows "Lock: Copying Prohibited".

Is this possible with the versions I have purchased?
Could someone please provide the steps on how to do this?

    Doesn't matter have already played and finished this, just a shame I couldn't use my Season 1 choices.

    My apologies, unfortunately save files are incompatible between separate platforms. If you wish to play Season Two with your Season One PS3 choices, you will need to own Season Two for PS3 in order to import them successfully.

    That's a bit disappointing...
    How hard is it to save your choices to a text file and to an online server!? The text file would be 2-5kb max and would only need to contain the choices made eg.

    Filename: (PSN ID).txt

    [Slot1]
    S1E1 = 0,2,1,0,0,1
    S1E2 = 1,1,0,4,2,1
    S1E3 = etc...

    [Slot2]
    S1E1 = 0,2,1,0,0,1
    S1E2 = 1,1,0,4,2,1
    S1E3 = etc...

    This method would remove any incompatibility between platforms and regions!
    Another option, in Season 2 give the user (who can not transfer a save file) the option to re-select their Season 1 choices "manually" and also the option of "random" if they've never played Season 1.

    This is the one and only reason why I did not buy Game of Thrones and Borderlands yet. I don't own a PS4 so I just won't buy for the PS3 knowing my save file will be lost when I'll upgrade.

    I'm probably not the only one.
    It a real shame, especially when you make that sort of game accross multiple platforms.
