Nostalgia
Hey guys, since 2nd Season seems to be far away, I thought - let's remember all the moments from the game, community or comics which give us good, old-fashioned nostalgia or just are good memories. For me, personally, the game causes me to feel nostalgic when I remember scenes where you're walking in 80s New York or just exploring places. Dunno why, but it just feels so nice to remember all those explorations, beautiful artwork, mysteries hidden... Share yours!

My fav TWAU moments are Woody's fight and Mary's fight!
I bought TWAU on my PS4 cuz of nostalgia...
I re-read Fables Volumes 8-19 to remind myself of how sweet SnowxBigby are together
The beginning of EP4 is my fav (for obvious reasons)... until Colin gets in the way... I sent him to the farm for this single reason :P
The story is what drew me in. A friend told me about the game and I thought, 'Hey, why not give it a try....'
The style of the game was pleasing to the eyes. The voice actors did a hell of a job. It introduced me to the FABLES comics, which I'm pleased with and happy to have picked up and read.
The idea of all these fairytales we grew up with in one 'wholesome' little slice of heaven. Ep. 2 introduced me to my favorite, Georgie. All in all, it was worth the play and here is to season 2 or DLC.
Also, my favorite line in the entire game: (?) Gren won't remember that
Heh, I remember when my friend told me about this game, he said something like "this is a game about fairytales and Wolf protecting characters from one another". I thought - what a load of crap. Little did I know that it's going to be my favorite Telltale game
Mine was the first walking into the apartment and the conversation Bigby has with Colin. That was when I knew I was hooked with this game, and through the next 4 episodes, I was never let down once.
I never heard of the wolf among us at all. Then one day I saw a video on YouTube of some one playing. As soon as it got to the tittle while Bigby was in the taxi, I stopped the video and bought it. So I the very start then. I also loved how they show the Bridge where the crooked man is in the very start
I saw the first episode when I was looking for TWD Season 2; I passed it of cuz I wasn't looking for another game series. Then I saw Gamer's Poop on YouTube do TWAU and I decided to play the game's free trial (in case it wasn't a good series) afterwards...
The trial ended after Faith axed Woody, immediately afterwards I bought the Season Pass and the first 2 episodes, then a day later Ep. 3 came out!
Then I had to 'WAIT' for the next two episodes.... Those months of waiting were not fun at all.
Then in September I started buying the Fables comics and spin-offs in TP Volume form, I don't ever plan on getting rid of them.
I loved this game. I first just bought it to pass the time in between TWD S2 episodes but I found myself to love it more than TWD S2 :P. The community here is great, I started posting in spring around the time Ep.4 got released and it was really fun talking about this game with you guys.
Currently on my third playthrough and I'm still loving every bit of it. Hope we can keep this community alive with a DLC or S2!
My cousin sent me a link to the game; I watched a playthrough and said I HAD to play this game. I enjoyed the comics and was pleased TTG took this franchise and made it into a well executed idea.
The 2nd episode was meh; my favorite was the 3rd and the 5th. I was pleased with the detail put into the game and the characters were well done. This game also helped me on those days when tests, homework and work were destroying every fiber of my being. Hope we get a DLC or season 2 soon.
I've replayed the game I can't tell you HOW many times.
Damn guys, a wave of strong nostalgic feels sweeps over me even when I see the main menu and hear the main theme playing in the background. I suddenly remember all them fantastic times spent with this game when I was playing for the first time, and the mushy feeling inside me, which I was getting every time I ran TWAU to continue my playthrough.
For me there's no particular moment, which would induce nostalgia, it's just the whole game itself and the vibe it creates.
The soundtrack in general is what brings nostalgia for me, especially the soundtrack from Episode One.

And of course the opening theme as well:

The first episode where Bigby meets Faith and gets in a fight with Woody is what really hooked me on the story. I love the animation, and the color style, I also just loved how dark and twisted it gets only 15 minutes into game play. I read the comics, but have never been a huge fan of them tbh, but the game..the game just pulled me in. My next favorite was probably the debut of Nerissa, such an interesting and melancholy character.
I'm feeling nostalgic, but I'm also feeling sad now..it is just so disappointing that TTG will make a Minecraft game of all things but not a season 2 of TWAU.
This reminds me, I've made my own personal OST mix few months ago, so why not share the good stuff
Mary's striptease? Oh wait TellTale cut that from the final release :P
cough cough
lol dude; I've seen this...
I mean Mary sashaying up to Bigby as a human in his apartment chair!
Believe that Nerissa will make a comeback
Oh yes, the music is absolutely amazing in this game Gives me nostalgic feels and I can listen to it for hours
I got a small story to tell that is associated with the Wolf Among Us. It is about episode 2 and episode 5.
I played Episode 2 while I was on a school trip to Texas. Because of the bad internet at our hotel, I waited quite a long time to get the episode downloaded. But still, I got to play the episode while being in the United States.
Episode 5 got the released at the time I went on a summer trip to Hong Kong. Because our residence have ZERO internet connection, I took drastic measure to get the last episode downloaded. I went to a shopping mall and found internet connection on one specific location. Which was in a middle of a long shopping hallway with lots of lots of people walking by, watching me holding my laptop for 20-30 minutes to download the last episode.
So yeah, lots of good memorable moments with the game.
Heh, I admire your dedication to the game And was it worth it ?
It was totally worth it.
Cliffhanger, so yeah she does...
