Combining two different pref.prop files into one?
First of all, sorry for my poor English since I'm not a native speaker.
I have two pref.prop files (I renamed the second one "pref - copy.prop") in my Documents folder (C:\Users\Alex\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead). Each of them contains save slot (or save data, settings, whatever) with season 1 finished. And these save slots differ a lot from each other in terms of player decisions throught the whole season.
I can enable only one of these two files (and the particular set of decisions) by copying it to the Steam folder (\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default). Is there any way to make only one pref.prop file containing both above mentioned save slots?
I hope I made myself clear. Here is my support tool file: https://www.sendspace.com/file/wpnvqr

Unfortunately there is no way to combine preferences files (prefs.prop files). If you would like to play through the game again, we recommend playing the game on another save slot in the game, and not using a second prefs.prop file. If you have a second prefs.prop file this can create errors and corrupted save files. I apologize I could not assist you further with your request.
Can I create 2 separate folders somewhere on my hard drive, copy and paste all saves from the Documents folder into these folders and then place each of the pref.prop files in one of the folders (in other words, pref.prop file goes to folder №1, pref - copy.prop file goes to folder №2, all save files go to folder №1 and folder №2)? Maybe this way I could choose save data I'd like to use (by copying the necessary prefs.prop file to the Steam folder and by copying all save files to the Documents folder) in order to continue the story?
It's important to save both save slots because by brother and I have been playing this game on the same computer. So we really don't like the idea of playing the whole season 1 from the scratch. Especially since both preference files seem to be working.
You can try it out, and see if it works, unfortunately the process is unfortunately unsupported, and may result in your save files being corrupted.
