Bloody Mary is mentioned in Fables issue 148!!!!
In the Last Story involving Jack Horner, he mentions having a threesome with her and the GreenBriair's Ghost...
Nice to see Willingham using her! XD
Shame we don't see it happening :P

That's awesome, good to see Willingham using TWAU characters and acknowledging it.
Why not say her name? I'm really curious now.
Apparently it's Briar Rose's ghost... I'm not 100% sure though...
Well who knows if Jack is telling the truth, he seems to be the type to lie about that. Maybe Willingham saying that hints Mary is still alive then and will be in season 2? I hope.
I think a Gren cameo would be really cool to see
This is truly wonderful news, finally! Even though I haven't read Fables comics (not yet, at least), any mention of Bloody Mary in any official source, especially if it contains the slightest hint about her current status, practically makes my day brighter and gives me another charge of healing hope.
Considering that in Episode 4 Jack optionally talks about Mary, as if he barely knew her and even was intimidated by her in some way, it's very unlikely that their intercourse took place before the events of TWAU... Quite intriguing, isn't it?
Thereby, there's only one detail left unclear. Does anyone know if Jack in the comic refers to her by her name, or like "the ghost of Bloody Mary"? Because if he just brings up her name only, then it's almost officially confirmed in my mind that she is still alive.
This is the FIRST mention of Mary in the comics; Jack says he had sex with "Bloody Mary's ghost"
Do with that what you will...
So he literally refers to her as a ghost then?..
Well actually he says the "Greenbriair Ghost"
So I guess she COULD be alive, but if Jack is a ghost then Mary must be as well..............
But it's still unclear, right? Er, any chance a ghost could have sex with a living being? @JamesDalton1995?
First of all I think you can lol and second of all....Bloody Mary is a ghost already isn't she? I mean before she was "killed" she was already a ghost technically.
In Fables? Maybe... :P
You know... that is actually a really good point, dude!
Sorry man, Jack is talking about how being a Ghost isnt all bad and all the things he did as a Ghost. RIP Mary ;'(
Dude... let @TheZorkij dream alright?
Mary was always a ghost though technically. Say here name 3 times she appears and all that.
But she can interact with real people, so she has a body like Jack used to...
Either way, I see this reference as a hint that her 'real' demise has yet to be shown; TWAU Season 2 should be good for that XD
That's awesome. But Bloody Mary doesn't seem like she would sleep with Jack.
Just never thought Mary of all people would.
Meh... I'm sure many Fable women didn't intend on sleeping with Jack, but they did in the end :P
Your comment got eaten by the thread lol
Mary was probably bored... Jack doesn't specify anything besides it was a threesome :P
I want to clarify things about Jack:
His heritage (read Jack of Fables to find out who his Father is) gives him a way with the ladies (that should be a good clue) There are a few women in both Jack of Fables and Fables that don't like Jack and refuse to sleep with him, but they eventually do and end up coming back for more afterwards.
Considering we know so little about Mary and what her preferences are; I would go as far to say that it took Jack a while to convince her to three-way with him and the ghost of GreenBriair (who that is I have no idea!) Mary could've been bored when Jack found her, or she hated him and he had to work for it :P
I wish Willingham had shown us Bloody Mary, it would be interesting to see Mark Buckingham's depiction of her in the comic
Yeah, The Page Sisters, Rose Red, Lumi (Snow Queen), Goldilocks........and those were only the confirmed ones......
Thank goodness Snow was (and still is) totally immune to Jack's so-called charms. Probably wouldn't be able to bear it if even Snow falls victim to Jack and sleeps with him.
Hmmm......I'm not so sure Ghost of GreenBriar is actually referring to Briar Rose? Everyone calls her Briar Rose, so why would Jack call her differently (unless he can't remember her name lol)?
this all obviously happened in the pawn shop xD
Sorry, I just can't see Bloody Mary willingly having sex with a complete heel like Jack. If anything, she'd cut off his ghost genitals and mount them over her fireplace as a trophy.
It's not like she's the picture of virtue herself
I don't know if Goldilocks counts. She came to him first.
Someone wrote a fanfiction where Jack uses some kind of sex potion to get Snow to sleep with him...
I HATED that fanfiction forevermore!!!!!
We'll they are both dead and ghost so she was probably just bord
Let's also assume that she had Jack under her thumb the entire time :P
Also... do you remember the intro of the first issue of Jack of Fables? You know; where he saves Fabletown and Snow starts kissing him like no tomorrow...
It took a lot of will power to continue reading that Volume
Yeah but Goldyilocks a bigger slut than Cinderella and Rapunzel so... it doesn't count :P
It's not about virtue. In Mary's eyes, Jack wouldn't be worthy of licking the athlete's foot from between her toes, let alone engaging in sexual intercourse with her.
I don't know if she's as high minded as you say, lol. not good enough to marry but a quick tumble, why not?
Jack has convinced women to sleep with him before when they want him dead (The Page Sisters are PERFECT examples of this) Even Mary will fall to his advances eventually, but she might've been in control nonetheless :P
IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING HIGH MINDED, AND IT'S NOT ABOUT VIRTUE. Bloody Mary is a psychotic uberbitch, and any man who tries to sleep with her would wind up either dead or castrated. Especially Jack.
Apparently not Jack XD
You sound jealous of jack
