What if TWAU Season 2 follows on from TWAU comic instead of Season 1?

The comic gives us set choices and hopefully a solid ending. Already the comic has many differences both big and small to the game; I haven't read it yet as I am waiting for it be released in print form, but it sounds like a better idea to go off the solid material than the multiple choices material...

It's not like TWD where we switched from Lee to Clementine; Bigby will be the likely protagonist for Season 2 and it would take too much time for TellTale to have all of the Season 1 personality choices echo into Season 2.

What do you think ppl?

  • If it did then all our work in Season 1 would be pointless.

  • The comic so far, from what I read, is pretty much on target. I think they are going by the most popular choices we as gamers chose. They are doing a lot of background, too; for example, they explained Faith and Lawrence's relationship troubles and their backstory. I'm hoping thye continue to do so further into the comic.

So far, they are pretty much keeping it the same. :)

  • Honestly the comic extinguishes the point of the game and making choices

  • But Season 1 inspired the comic :)

  • I think the comic is a good idea with it's backstories on the new characters etc...

  • I thought the Exile thing was dumb and not needed

  • Actually it was needed to show how they felt.

  • I haven't read the comic, but I figure the point was to get the story to non-gamers who read the comics. I know TWAU is available on any device that can handle it, but some people may not be interested in playing the game or watching LPs, playthroughs or longplays. If there are extra character moments I might be interested in reading the comic mini-series as well, but as it stands I have only just started reading the Fables series, so I'll have to wait and see.
