Game of Thrones Episode 2 won't let me finish
I would make it to the end of the episode but my game will just show a black screen and when I quit and come back it says I didn't finish the episode. Please help

having the same problem, it freezes after the preview for episode 3.
Same exact thing here, black screen with smoke in the upper right hand corner after the preview of Episode 3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the episode didn't help

Same. On Xbox One, I've played through the entirety of Episode 2, I unlocked all achievements except the one for Part 5(done unlocking, same thing happens with the Master Chief Collection), and I'm stuck at the black screen after the preview for Episode 3.
Man, every release of a telltale game has something going wrong. Achievements out of order, the episodes not coming out on time, apparently for some folks their decisions that carried over aren't even the correct ones(I don't have this particular problem), etc etc
Getting a little annoying. Love Telltale's games, hate the baggage that comes with them.
Is it possible for the OP to remove the spoiler tag? No reason for it at all.
Can we have some feedback from a staff member or something? This is a game breaking issue seeing as you cannot actually finish the episode and have it marked as completed.
I have tried to remove it but everytime I uncheck it the spoiler warning remains. Sorry
I can't even finish the game either, I unlocked the last achievement, but can't see my choices... WTF!? Telltale needs to fix this, it needs a patch and soon!
Same here, this needs to be fixed, it's so frustrating not being able to complete episode 2.
Same here, it gave me the last achievement as if I completed the episode, however the black screen prevents the credits or my choices from showing so it doesn't save and you have to start over again from the beginning of that scene (super annoying having to listen to that song)
Yeah the song was cool the first time but gets real old real fast. Here's hoping this is fixed quickly.
Exactly, I got tired of having to restart that scene over and over again, so I deleted it and I won't re-install it until this issue is fixed.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever played a game in my 32 years alive where the end credits didn't work!! Did anybody actually test this episode at all before release???
Somehow this isn't happening to everyone. I wonder what combination of circumstances we all share in this thread?

How did you buy the episode....bundle, season pass, or single purchase?
What choices did we all make? Does that matter?

By the way now it's doing the same thing at the end of episode 1.
Maybe the solution is to buy a playstation?

My apologies, for those of you experiencing this, can you please clarify if you are able to see your saves by selecting 'Change Save File' from the main menu? If so, do the saves show that you've completed Episode 2, part of Episode 2, or only Episode 1? Also, are you seeing a My Choices menu option on the main menu? If you are not seeing a Choices/Stats page at the end of Episode 2, were you able to see your Choices/Stats page at the end of Episode 1?
Without going back to check, I'll say this-
Last night after I got black screened, I closed the game and restarted it. Upon joining again, I looked to see if my choices were listed on the choices tab, but for Episode 2 they were not there;Episode One's choices were perfect, but none existed for Episode 2.
Upon attempting to play Episode 2 again, it started me from the final portion of the episode(I won't spoil). The song played, the preview initiated for Episode 3, and then I got black screened again. I didn't try again after that.
The same issue over here. It doesn't read that I have completed it. It reads that I am on the last checkpoint.

This is the sixth time now it has done it to me, I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, moving it off my external drive, power cycling. Tell your devs to patch their damn end credits.

My choices do show and Duncan was my sentinel all in game choices seemed intact
When I uninstalled and reinstalled I did it in game then still didn't make a difference

Look, all we are asking for is a straight answer, it's the end credits that need patched for episode 2 as well as being able to see our choices at the end of the episode.
I just don't understand how the Xbox One version even passed cert testing, what were they thinking!?
Everything that LPPrince said is the exact problem that we are all having. My choices do not show up for episode 2 but they do for episode 1, and yes I can see my saves.
Same issue. Only ep 1 choices in the menu, and the save dumps to the start of the funeral.
Oh, and thank you Mike for checking in here and looking into the problem. It is nice to see communication like that. Please keep us all posted as you figure things out.
I was able to see my Choices/Stats for Episode 1 only. Every time, the same as everyone else on this forum it does not show I completed Episode 2. The strange thing is when I am on my computer on the Telltale website I am able to see that Episode 2 was completed and see the Choices/Stats for Episode 2.
Anyone had any luck with workarounds yet?
Don't know what else there is to do besides an uninstall/reinstall, power cycle and fresh start (which didnt help). Some of seem to have had our choices imported, others cant see the my choices at all, seems like the save system is just a buggy pos.
It looks like a lot of us actually have the my choices options and they carried over. Are the only people that are able to finish ones who didnt import data from Ep 1?
Can we please at least know if its getting fixed or not?
I'm wondering what the status of a fix is too. Or if there is no fix coming, what the status of a refund is.
Just by counting in the threads I've posted in about this issue with the amount of users affected by this game breaking bug , the least they could do is acknowledge they are working on the problem

If you are currently still experiencing the issue, can you please clarify what region/country you are currently located in, if you are using a wired or wireless connection, and when you played through Episode 1? (Did you play through Ep 1 when it released, or more recently?)
Northeast Mid Atlantic USA , wired, finished Ep1 in December, whenever the xbox live sale was as this was when I bought the SP as well

Those links are another issue. To clarify, I am not having save import problems, but rather issues with the game freezing at the end, as the OP describes. Let's not confuse the issue by lumping problems together. I'm no expert, but I suspect confusing/conflicting reports can't help speed the process!
