My mom just got me this new Acer monitor, and now I can't play any games from steam ;-;
Telltale's games = Direct3D error
L4D2 = Will launch but the window will close and then stay as a background process.
(So far, only L4D2 acts like this, and i don't know what's causing it to do that. Is it because my newer monitor is in a higher resolution than the previous?)
So I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still considering in making that Sims story that I thought of long ago when making those Sims… more households. Life Is Strange got the idea going again. I'll just make it when I'm not busy. I've got the idea of the story thought out. Four perspective protagonists: Azlyn, Don't_Look_Back, Gustav_Kenny, and LeeTheProfessional. The 4 stories will be connected. It should be a fun story to make. I'll just write, not draw (yeah drawing my comic for so long is finally starting to wear me down on energy).
I still need a list of the 4th set however. Pro's part of it. But I need some more members to make in Sims 4.
Here's who we got: Me, Azlyn, Markd4547, Cluke_Is_Dumb, Don't_Look_Back, Welcome_To_Woodbury, WhatToWriteHere, SaltLick123, AllThatRemains, Papai46, AWESOMEO, Gustav_Kenny, Blueneon, Raging_Blades, Helloworld123, and now LeeTheProfessional.
If you like to be in it let me know. I need some more anyway. If there's a lot I'll just pick out.
Maybe try to call technical support from Acer's? Maybe they could do something.
Speaking of Steam. I logged in so I can talk to some folks but I found out Steam updated in a way that I can't chat with anyone without a game in my account. And I don't got the cards to buy them. The site just gave me more reason to stick to Skype. First the glitches now this. Sigh.

After problems with Sims, Steam, my dislocated shoulder (the one I draw with, oh goody), and not hearing from a good friend for like a month (getting worried now), I actually have something good happen to me today. I went to a pawn shop and found some manga books. Each book cost me a dollar each! That's much cheaper than any other store, and they're in perfect condition! I got myself a rare (rare since it's old and no longer published) Shonen Jump Magazine published in 2006 of October, the 1st 2 volumes and 13th volume of Full Metal Alchemist, the 1st volume of Attack on Titan, and first 3 volumes of Tsubasa(could be useful for reference but if I don't like it, I know a friend to give it to). All for just 8 dollars.
Ah, At first i thought it was the monitor that was causing it (since games wouldn't play if they are trying to load in a screen resolution higher than mine), and now i think it's my GPU drivers (and stuff similar to that).
For some reason, I had some NVidia drivers installed even though I don't have any NVIDIA graphics card in my CPU.
Only games that are 2D (sprites) can only be played, any other 2.5 or 3D games will either crash, freeze or not load at all.
I wish I knew what's happening. That sucks a lot.
