Stuck at "Fuck you Asher"

Bought episode 2 of GOT on Xbox one and the whole thing stinks. I'm stuck in the first fight scene and there's no time/chance to react. The game is also very buggy and glitchy and I can't do anything.

Here's what it looks like: https://vid.me/rByW

Do you guys even test your product? I mean for the Xbox One, all you have is ONE hardware platform (unlike the 360 or iOS which have multiple hardware devices and multiple OS versions in the case of iOS).

I apologize for any difficulties this has caused. After looking at your video, can you please clarify if you are unable to move the cursor down over the notification icon on the sword, in the allocated time given? If you are not able to complete the Quick-Time Event, please try rewinding the Episode to the section before that scene, and try playing through again, and see if you are then able to complete that particular action sequence.

  • I'm having this same problem! It doesn't matter how many times I rewind or restart the whole episode, it happens. So frustrating! It doesn't even give me the chance to react, it just glitches out. My husband was able to play through the whole episode without any issue on his profile, but on mine he can't get it past this point either, so it isn't player error... I really want to proceed further with my story without having to replay all of episode 1 just to have it glitch here again... If there's a fix or anything, please let me know.

My apologies, please make sure that when you reach that particular Quick-Time Event, that you are waiting for the two circular icons to merge together before pressing the action button, or you will fail the Quick-Time Event. Make sure that the game is updated to the latest version (If you have automatic updating enabled on your Xbox One, this would have occurred in the background), and please also make sure that you do not have any other programs or applications open and running on your console while playing the game.

  • TellTaleMike,

I am playing on my iPhone6+ and I am also having the same problem. Haven't had one Quick-Time Event that I couldn't get past leading up to the "Fuck you Asher" point. It just does not give me time to react. I have tried rewinding 3-4 times and have tried every action possible. I also looked online and watched a video of what it is supposed to look like to get past the action. For some reason, it is not letting me past. Please advise on how I can get past this. I have purchased all 6 episodes and I can't even get past the 1st chapter in the 2nd episode. any help would be greatly appreciated...

My apologies, you may be experiencing this issue if your device is not directing all of it's processing power to the game. I recommend making sure you have closed the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7/8, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to start that scene again, and complete the QTE successfully.
