Downloading EP2 for 8 hours on ios

Hello,I noticed on the ios version of GOT that EP2 is now available for download.So i pressed the download button and it says "Updating content,downloading from server".It stays that way for 8 hours.I'm on ios 8 and GOT 1.1.Please reply if you know what's going on,thank you.

  • This is what is happening for me too. I kept it downloading when I went to bed and 7 hours later, it was still "updating content". Please help! I was so excited to play the second episode.

  • Don't worry,I saw a reply made by Telltale Games on a post like this.They said that they will fix it as soon as possible.This is happening to all ios users.

  • Have you updated the app itself? Had the same issue until I did.

    I apologize for the delayed response, and any difficulties this has caused you. If you are experiencing any issues downloading the episode, please close the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7/8, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

    Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to successfully download Episode 2 on your device.
