Unable to uninstall episode 1

Hi, I do not have enough space on my iPad. I can both download and uninstall episode 2 on my iPad, but it is absolutely unplayable (constantly freezes during the opening cut scene). I thought uninstalling episode 1 might help, but each time I click episode 1 under the "Episodes" tab, nothing happens. Any recommendations?

    I apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. Unfortunately Episode 1 is incorperated/part of the Base Game Application, and cannot be deleted. Episodes 2-6 are the episodes that are able to be deleted from within the Base Game Application to save space on your device.
