Android ep 2 bug?
This MIGHT just be me being uncoordinated but in the first fight scene in ep 2, when Asher grabs the sword on the ground the next action doesn't seem to result in anything other than death. The circular 'tap here' prompt shows up but tapping it does nothing - the enemy just stabs Asher regardless. I have tried tapping, tapping and holding, swiping and even anticipating it and tapping before the prompt appears but the same thing happens. It happens so fast it's like the game isn't waiting for the input - it just goes straight to the death animation.
This is on Android Lollipop on a Nexus 9 with the latest GoT version updated.

Same thing is happening to me..
Why is this thread closed? I am also having this same issue on IOS...does anyone know how to get past this screen? From the walk through it looks like we are supposed to move right, but on IOS it is a circle, when I press on the circle nothing happens and we get killed...very frustrating...
I tried everything and t get passed this part. It's been over a week now..
It's just your being "uncoordinated", you'll have to WAIT for the right moment to tap.
The outer circle will shrink until it fits the inner. THAT's the moment to tap. If you're too late OR too early, you're dead.

Can you please clarify what Android OS you are currently updated to? Also, have you tried force closing any other open applications in the background, then resetting your device to allow the device's cache to clear, then retrying that part of the episode?
Same thing here! There are no other applications running in the background, I can retry whatever, it doesnt work. It seems to me the point to touch is not active/visible long enough to hit, so death animation all the time... I use HTC One Mini.
Its not playable for me from that point, and having bought the whole seasons pass, I can go no further
My apologies, if you have already tried waiting different time increments, and you are still experiencing the issue, I recommend try going to the device’s Settings Menu, then go to Applications, then Manage Applications, and select the Game Application and tap ‘Clear Data’. This will clear all data from the app. Then reset your device (leaving it off for 5-10 minutes to allow the device's cache to clear), and then turn it back on and start the game again, and see if you are then able to complete the Quick-Time Event.
My Android version is 4.4.2. Resetting doesnt make a difference either, so please help
My only other potential solutions would be to make sure that both your device, and the game application are updated to the latest versions to ensure you are not playing an older version of the game, and also to try rewinding to the chapter/checkpoint before that particular scene, and play through again until reaching that Quick-Time Event. Unfortunately if these suggestions do not resolve your issue, I would have to recommend contacting Google Play Support for more suggestions on how to improve the performance of your device, and they should be able to assist you further.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE with Android 4.4.2
Everything is updated to the latest version.
I have also an Acer Iconia A510 with CM12.
I tried the game on this device and have the same bug in the same quick time event.
So it's not caused by the device.
Can you please clarify if you have tried waiting a split-second longer to tap in order to complete the Quick-Time event, or is the time window for you to tap on the screen too short to complete it? Could you possibly take a video of what you are seeing during that particular part of the game?
Very strange, but I got it.
I made a video with my smartphone, and don't ask me why, but this QTE, what is shown on my tab every time for only a few milliseconds, was shown on the video for round about 2 seconds.
I tried it three times, with the same strange result.
I really don't know, how this is technically possible, and I swear, I had no alcohol tonight.
So I was able to pass this QTE by looking on my smartphone and tapping on the screen of my tab.

This is happening with me on my Kindle HDX 8.9", I even registered for this community just so I could post about it. I can't get past that point, it's been several weeks now. Seriously, I had to play with the sound muted while I was still fruitlessly attempting to get past it, I couldn't take hearing, "f#ck you, Asher" one more time haha
The option to fight never appears on the screen. For a split second you get the circle but before you can tap it or touch it you're done. Please tell me there's a fix or workaround. I've already purchased the season pass and I feel like my money's been wasted.
Have you made sure to update the game application to the latest version? Also, have you made sure to force close all other applications that are open and running on your device currently? Have you tried turning your device off for at least 5-10 minutes to allow the device's cache to clear, then trying that part of the episode again? If you have tried all of these already and are still experiencing the issue, I recommend contacting Amazon Support for further assistance/more suggestions on how to free up more processing power on your device.
I was having the same problem, but this thread helped me (particularly the posts from User1291 and Thorjenn). For those who are still struggling: Tapping too early triggers the cutscene. The circle stays on screen longer if you don't touch anything and wait. I thought that the cutscene was coming too soon for me to do anything. It turned out that I was apparently triggering it myself. I'm glad to be past that part now.
