Confused about the time setting of TWAU comic
So we all agree that TWAU game takes place in 1986, which is nearly 20 years before the events of Fables begin.
But in issue 4 of TWAU comic, Colin talks in his sleep and says: "Gordy is a better film than Babe: Pig In The City"
Gordy came out in 1995 and Babe: Pig In The City came out in 1998; so that means TWAU takes place barely 4-5 years before the events of Fables!
Is this an oversight or what? The overall style of TWAU screams late 80's to early 90's, but if it's nearing the turn of the century then what the hell?!

It's probably just a little thing added to make the atmosphere cosier, since both movies are about pigs and this is Colin talking. Honestly, I wouldn't think anything about this.
Just because Colin is referencing an old movie, doesnt make it that year
I guess Colin has the gift of foresight :P
I haven't read the comics, but from what you describe, it just sounds like an oversight. In the fight with the Woodsman during Episode 1, I think there is a movie poster that says something along the lines of "In the Future of 1996" or something.
I was certain that TellTale or Willingham or whoever confirmed that the game is set in 1986...
If it was set in the late 90's, then Bigby's comment that Snow acquired the position of Deptuy Mayor recently in Fables Volume 1 would be a lot more accurate.
But the overall style of the game; like the cars you see, the hairstyles, the clothes etc. they all scream 80's
