TMI free game issue

Hi - I tried to send this as an email twice already, but I suppose you must have not recieved it. I got your automated reply but nothing after.

I got the Monkey Island pre-order - you sent me a free game coupon, and I'm having problems using it.

I am trying to download Sam and Max season 1 episode 1. I entered all my details, and the coupon code, but then it asked for my credit card details/paypal information. I haven't got a credit card, so I clicked paypal, paypal won't accept a zero amount and so I had to start again - now your website says my coupon code "is invalid or can't be used for this order". What can I do?

    There are two places that a coupon can be entered - on the last screen of checkout (where it asks for your payment info) or on the cart screen (the first screen before you enter your address etc.) Which screen are you trying to enter it on?

    If you're entering it on the last screen, try the cart screen instead and see if it works.

    I tried it on both screens, and got the same message on both. I think it's because the first time I tried it, the Telltale website accepted the code, but because it was $0, paypal wouldn't let me pay, so I couldn't go any further. As far as this website is concerned, I used my code, right?

    You never should have had to enter PayPal info, if it had worked correctly. But yes, if you're getting a message now that says the code is invalid, someone will need to send you another coupon.

    Sounds like there's a problem with support emails reaching you but hopefully a Telltale staffer will post here shortly to help you out. :)
