TWD-S1 : Update paused?? (Steam)
Hi there,
I bought TWD Season one via Steam, yesterday. I actually downloaded and installed the game without any errors. But while starting the game I got the message of some missing files. So I followed the Steam support recommondation and verified all game files. Well, the message of missing files is now gone, but during update process everything just stopped. It means, I was able to download the update after clicking on play the game, but then just nothing happens. It just says, update paused. I have no clue what to do now. Need some advise please!

I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you. Please try changing the download region from which your update is coming from. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.
Thanks for that advice...
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work.

If you are still unable to start the game, please also try restarting the Steam Client a few times, and see if the update alert resolves itself. If it does not, you may need to uninstall, and reinstall the game from Steam. To do this, please right-click the game in your Steam Library, then click Delete Local Content. Then after it has finished, click the Install button on the game's page in your Library, then the update will reset, and should successfully complete.
