Stephanie laughs and Desmond gets up and walks out of the room. Desmond walks down the hallway and down to the Courtyard outside. He sees a crowd gathering in the middle and finds Violet, Henry, Katherine, Sydney, and Shouna in there. He walks up to them.
Desmond- Hey guys.
Violet- Oh...Hi Desmond.
Katherine- Glad to see you alive kid.
Henry- Yeah, I hope everything went okay without my watchful eye to help.
Desmond- Well...No really but i'll tell you later. What's going on?
Sydney- Don't know. Something. Leon is up there, I don't know about what though.
Leon stands up on a platform and picks up a pistol.
Leon- Hello, everyone. We recently have had a run into the City. Everyone knows that these runs are extremely dangerous but well needed for the safety of the Safe Zone. On these runs, our courageous runners sometimes find supplies, people, and other various things. On our latest run we found a group of new survivors!
Henry pats Desmond on the back and whispers.
Henry- We did that kid!
Leon- They also found great new supplies and a lot of cool stuff. However, the point I'm making with this is that sometimes on these runs...We have losses. We lost a great deal of people. A few survivors who they found died...And our own people suffered. Last night, one of our people, Amiela Beckett, was infected.
Shouna- She what!
The crowd stirs up in a commotion. Leon quickly silences them.
Leon- Yes, Yes! I know, this is heart breaking and almost rage inducing that the runners brought her back to endanger us all. However, let me tell you that none of them meant to endanger us.
Desmond- What? Is he seriously pinning this on us?
Leon- Sadly, we must show you all what happens to Infected. We can NOT have ANY Infected inside these walls. We will fall and die if we allow the Infected to stay in here.
Katherine- What is he doing?
Shouna- Infected? Infected! He's talking about her like she isn't a person anymore!
Henry- Calm down Shouna.
The crowd grows upset. Leon quickly takes control.
Leon- We are going to execute her! The Infected kill and ONLY kill. She endangers everyone! If someone is Infected, you must kill them! If you can not do it then let an armed guard know and they will do it and if the person requests to leave the Safe Zone than die to us then we will let them. Amiela, however, is too late into the Crier Disease to make that choice! John! Bring her out!
John and other armed guards brings out a handcuffed Amiela with a sack over her head. John force her to her knees and put chains around her legs which are attached to the platform.
Katherine- He's seriously NOT doing this, right?
Violet- I...I can't watch this.
Violet runs off and Shouna is on the verge of tears. Sydney walks over and tries to comfort her. John pulls the bag off of her head. Amiela has blood running off of her eyes, she tries to break free of the chains. John faces the crowd, some of which walked away to avoid seeing it.
John- Do you see?! Do you! This is a monster, nothing short of a fucking demon! Whoever she was, is no more. This is what you do to monsters!
John puts the pistol up to Amiela's head and pulls the trigger. Amiela's body slumps over and hits the floor of the platform. Blood runs off of it. Most of the crowd watches in disbelief. Shouna drops to the floor crying and Sydney kneels next to her comforting her with Katherine running over to help. John shoots Amiela's head again. Henry yells out.
Henry- Is that needed!?
Leon- Yes! This is needed! You need to kill them and you never know if it's alive. I'm risking ANYONE in this Zone! Everyone, you are dismissed!
Most of the crowd starts to walk off and away. Sydney, Katherine, and Henry help Shouna up and get her away. John and the other guards stand quietly up on the platform and then drag the body of Amiela away. Leon walks down off of the platform with a guard escort. Leon walks over to Desmond.
Leon- You know...John and I needed to do that.
Desmond just stares at Leon and Leon stares back with a look of grief on his face. Leon gives Desmond a dogtag that says Amiela Beckett on it.
Leon- Start a collection, there will be more of these to come around.
Leon walks off and inside the buidling. Desmond soon follows and up to his room. He walks in and sees Stephanie on the bed reading a magazine.
Stephanie- Hey, what was that gunshot?
Desmond lays the dogtag on a table and takes off his clothes and gets in the bed.
Desmond- I rather not talk about it. However, are you ready for sexy time starring me and you?

Although i have to say Leon's little execution was a f**king faliture. Not only did he want to do this publicly to people who most likely see him as a dictator and a monster but he also failed to keep people there thus ruining the entire point of it.
Well, Leon just needed to make a point, that was all he wanted. He needed to show people that he doesn't want them to die so no Infected will be allowed. The execution was a bit extreme but he had an Infected girl and he took the opportunity. Let's just hope this doesn't bite him in the ass.

I have to say, Leon and John have been quite the dicks in this chapter.
