Open questions about Faith and Lily
So I finished this game with lots of questions still about how Lily was killed.
Maybe you guys can help answer?
- Why was there blood everywhere? Vivian's death seemed to be much cleaner with less blood.
- Why was there a Huff and Puff cigarette there? Nerissa and Beauty said no one smoked it but Bigby, and no one else was revealed to smoke that brand in the game. Georgie had a huff and puff cigarette machine, but so did the Trip Trap.
- Why were the pictures of crane there? If Faith/Nerissa stole them, how did they end up at Lily's room? And how did the killer of Lily not find them in so obvious of a spot?
- Who killed Lily? Lily's body was still wearing Snow's "work" clothes in the glamour, but they were not soaked in blood. And we know that Crane was reenacting Snow's story when he spent time with Lily, which is why the costume dress, flowers, and apple were there. So this further suggests that Crane did not kill her because the costume dress was clean. Georgie claims he did it, but that doesn't answer everything. Whoever killed her also seemed to be framing Crane by leaving all the damning evidence there, including the photographs, the wine, etc.
- Who dumped her body in the river? Who was laughing? Was it the Tweedles?
- Who put Lily's head on the steps of the woodlands? Was it Nerissa again? If it was Nerissa again, how did she get the head?
- Where is Faith's body? What was the result of Swineheart's further tests?
- Why was Faith's donkeyskin coat at Toad's house? Why would she just leave it there? It supposedly lets you walk around "invisible" in plain sight. Why would there be a note attached to it for Prince Lawrence?
Anyway I'm still trying to figure this all out.
Nerissa and Faith saying the same things... supposedly Nerissa could have been glamoured to be Faith when she first met Bigby. Or Faith was Nerissa. I need to think that through some more. Maybe some of you all have already thought that through...
All said, great game, Telltale! Great writing really is the most important.

2) Either it was Georgie smoking it when he pulled the ribbon OR Crane smoked them cuz he thought the link to Bigby would improve the arousal...
3) Faith/Nerissa could've put the pictures there shortly after Lily's body was removed maybe?
4) The appointment was made, but Lily didn't get a chance to change from her 'work clothes' into her 'sex clothes' before Georgie or whoever pulled the ribbon?
5) It is pretty obvious that Georgie and possibly Jersey and the Tweedles were the ones who dumped her. Near the end of Ep.4, if you wait before entering the room with the CM's people in, you can hear Georgie saying to Jersey "I told you before, stop laughing at me!"
6) It was Faith/Nerissa, how she got it is a mystery...
7) Faith's body is missing, Swineheart never got the chance to tell Bigby or Snow the results of his tests...
8) She must've forgotten it, or intentionally left it there so Bigby would find it, it would lead him to Lawrence etc.
Some of these questions have obvious answers...
I agree with everything except 1. There are 2 possibilities for 1 and they are Lily was dragged off the bed very slowly or she had a lot more blood.
1) that still doesn't answer the question. why was the blood everywhere? it wasn't everywhere for Vivian.
2) Playing through again, I got a huff and puff cigarette carton from the machine at Georgie's place, but the cigarette machine at the trip trap was not actually huff and puff. So the cig was definitely georgie's.
3) yes I was thinking that faith/nerissa probably planted the photos. I was also thinking that she staged the blood everywhere, and maybe even all of the book/wine/dress evidence. Since Crane was supposedly one of the Crooked Man's cronies, georgie should have cleaned all that stuff up.
4) I think she was ambushed after the appointment, but not sure.
5) ah nice catch. That explains it then. But I think that Rm 207 was all staged by Faith/Nerissa.
6) yes... still a mystery.
7) yeah ok. so the info probably isn't in the game then.
8) I wonder about that. I wonder how the magical power of the cloak plays into all this.
1) If she was dead for a while then her blood would have time to ooze out and stain into the bed...
It would not ooze out. The blood is either from either her body being dragged off the bed, or she had more blood in her body.
She is technically a troll, so maybe more blood oozed out...
And I'm pretty sure blood would pour out of a severed neck
She was most likely dragged off the bed which would allow more blood to flow out, and since she's a troll more initial blood poured out. If she wasn't a troll than the amount of blood would be close to the amount of blood on Bigby's floor in episode 4, which is still more than Vivian's.
Telltale didn't feel like animating a gory scene for Vivian.
It was never revealed. Telltale either forgot or abandoned giving a reason.
Since Nerissa guided the investigation along, she most likely put the pictures there after the murder.
Lily was wearing Snow's clothes at the time of her murder. Telltale forgot to add blood on her clothes.
In EP4, If you listen to the conversation behind the door at The Crooked Man's place, Georgie will say, "Stop laughing at me".
Yeah, Nerissa did it just like with Faith. But how she got Faith's and Lily's head was never explained.
Dr. Swineheart was testing Faith's body. His findings were never revealed.
Faith forgot her coat because of the whole Bigby/Woodsman fight. She had a note in it because she was going to deliver it to Lawrence when she had the time to.
We might find out more when reading the comics based on the game, who knows.
