Wont save my Progression through season 1

I recently bought the walking dead season 2. I wanted to play it but to start it it needs to search for my season one progression on my system. I bought season 2 on my ps4 and i bought season 1 on my ps3. So i cant start it without the game making random choices for me. And i really dont want that to happen. What can i do? Please help.

I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you. Unfortunately save games are incompatible between separate platforms. In order to import your saves/choices from Season One, you will need to own both Seasons on the same platform.

  • I tried re buying season 1 on the ps4 but it only says i can rent it. Will it save my progression if i rent it?

Can you please clarify what region/country you are currently located in, where you are seeing the ability to rent the game in the Playstation Store?

Please also try going to the Playstation Store Website, and doing a search for 'The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season', and in the results, you should see the PS4 version of Season One available for 19.99 or the equivalent in your country.
