I apologize for the inconvenience. When you receive this error message, can you please clarify if you are able to open the Episodes menu, and see the episode as 'Partially Downloaded'? If so, you should be able to tap on the episode, and it will resume where it left off. Unfortunately if you do not see this, you may need to re-download the episode from the beginning.
If you still experience issues downloading the episode, please try resetting your wireless network access point to ensure you have the strongest internet connection possible. You can also try closing any other applications open and running in the background, and then reset your device. Then start the game app again, and attempt to download the episode.
I am able to open the episodes menu, but it reads "purchased, but not downloaded." My internet connection is very strong, and I've already tried closing other apps and resetting the device.
Incidentally, I also have an issue when I launch the app where many times it will start to launch and then boot me back to the home screen. The app will remain on in the background but won't let me access it. I'm usually able to get around this simply by launching the app repeatedly until it works.
Can you please clarify what generation/model iPad you are currently using, and what iOS version it is currently updated to?
iPad 2 with IOS 7.1.1.
Same for me. I pad2 and content failed to download. Please Telltale game do something for ipad2 gamers and custommers because we pay for nothing. Épisode 1 working.

I recommend playing on an iOS device that meets the minimum recommended requirements if you have the ability to, or contacting Apple Support for further assistance, or any inquiries regarding refunds.
