Save File Loading Issue
So, i have two save files going, as you do. Thankfully my main save file is fine, just finished ep 2 with it, but I've now gone back to 2nd save file to play catchup and, although it loads the game up, it just loads a brief shot of character crotch, then all I get is background with nothing happening. I can move the pointer around but none of the buttons or directional do anything.

I've already tried closing the game down and starting it up again, along with powering off the PS4 etc, same thing still happens every time. One thing I noticed is that, when I go into saved data on my ps4, theres on one saved data file, but I'm not sure if that's just because TftB saves into one big save file or if it's because it's being weird... ...

I apologize for the inconvenience. The one save file on your PS4's save data menu includes all of the save slots for the game. If you are currently experiencing this when loading your second save slot, have you tried rewinding to the previous part in that save slot to see if you are able to start it successfully and play from there?
Also, can you please clarify how you played through the game with the two separate save files? Did you play through Episode 1 completely, then play through Episode 1 again on Save Slot 2, or did you play through on one save slot, then switch back and forth while playing through the episode? Any extra details on how you reached this issue, could help us on resolving the issue. Please also make sure to try rewinding to the previous chapter on that save slot, and see if that resolves the issue first.
Hey there! Thanks for the reply. Not sure how I'd rewind to a previous part, I'd been looking for some way of maybe doing this but I haven't the foggiest how I'd go about it.
As for how I played them, I completed save 1 ep1 first, and then started save 2 to see what other choices resulted in. I only played up to the arrival of a certain vault hunter and bandit leader (you can see that Fi is just about to get out of the air vent) and then left it for a while. Went back to save 1 to play through ep2 a few days ago, then figured I'd boot up my save 2 to keep that going and then came across it doing this. When I end a game, I always wait until the save icon comes up before exiting to main menu, but there's a vague possibility that I just hit the PS button and quit game from that menu (I occasionally do this with games for various reasons, but it's not often). So maybe I've done that without realising before the save could fully complete or something. :|a
Either way, I've now got a save 3 which I'm using for alternate choices, so I really don't need save 2 any more anyway, so it's of no great importance whether it's resolved or not, but figured it deserves a report.

Please note that you can 'rewind the game'/start the game from a previous chapter by clicking Play at the main menu, then when you see 'Continue Episode X' on-screen, there should be a Rewind button at the bottom. If you are playing on a console, you should be able to press the corresponding button, and it will bring up the list of Chapters you can rewind the game to.
Wow, I totally hadn't seen that rewind button before! Yeah, that did the trick for save file 2. I'll have to remember that if I ever get any further issues. Thanks again.
