Purchased and installed ep 3, game won't start

Hello if anyone can help me would be greatly appreciated. Purchased and installed ep 3: The Sword in the Darkness on PS3 and the game would not load. Now whenever I try to start it up I just get a blank black screen. Do I have to delete and reinstall the game does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    I moved this to the support section, other users are also experiencing this problem in this thread. A Telltale staff member is aware of this and will hopefully be able to help once they find what the problem is.

    I apologize for any difficulties this has caused. Can you please clarify if you have updated the game to the latest version? If your game is already updated to the latest version, please try deleting the episode from your console, as you may have received an incomplete or corrupted download file of the episode. If you still experience the issue, please note that I have made the team aware of the situation, and they are currently looking into the root cause of the issue. I will make sure to update This Forum Thread when I have any extra information to provide.

  • Is there any info on why after playing episode 3 the game wont load? It just goes to a black screen. I'm in st louis mo and download season three the day is was available for download. I finished the episode last night and when i tried to play it again today it just goes to a black screen. can anyone give me a reason for this and when it will be fixed??

  • I am still having this problem, since episode 3 came out. I have deleted and reinstalled multiple times now and the latest update is installed as well, and still all i get is a blank black screen that i can't even back out of. I had hoped that this would be fixed by now, or at the least, fixed with the release of episode 4.

    I cannot even get into the main menu to delete a single episode, i have to delete everything, and then re-download it all over again. Is there any info on what the problem is? I also have the Tales from the Borderlands, and i double checked, but it seems to be working fine, as do the other games i have on my console. So it seems to be a GOT problem.

    Any tips or fixes would be greatly appreciated, i'd really love to be able to play this game that i've paid for.
