Stressful day today in College turned out they have a list of people they might kick out and I was on the list due to attendance and not finding work experience
I hate work experience 9am-4pm it’s every Monday and Tuesday for 8 weeks of sweeping the floor in some shop for free it’s just slave labour to me you learn nothing I’d rather a class day. Wednesday, thursday and friday is college days now usually Monday and tuesday too until we had work experience >:/
And if you don’t have work experience you still have to come in and sit in the classroom on those days and do nothing from 9-4 as punishment for not finding work experience
The teachers then threatened me if you can’t find work experience by next week we will have to remove you from this class
I always take Monday off as I’m not sweeping the floor or doing nothing all day in class I’d rather have a lie in then get ready for boxing
So today I got called in with the school psychologist and assessor who deals with these problems basically she decides to kick you out or not and the other 3 on the list who were a couple of my mates came here then got kicked out for the same issues
A make or break interview that’s real pressure XD
I knew she was a psychologist and I know how their work well, there job is first to spot a liar that’s their no:1 trigger bs a psychologist your done lambs to the slaughter if they spot you in a lie I’m out be honest they will be your best friend
I went in, it was a half an hour long here is bits of the convo
Her: So mark your attendance hasn’t been great any reason for that?
Me: I am always tired after a long week of college and my sports I play so I always have a lie in on Mondays
Her: You know you shouldn’t Mark we have a list of people we have to get rid of you know
Me: I know but I wanted to be completely honest with you and not have any excuses it’s completely my fault and I know I can do better
Her: Thank you for your honesty Mark

Trust has been established with her she knows I’m not a liar now as no one would be that honest, it was a risky move but I have a plan now everything I say will be seen as the truth to her for now on

Time to slowly introduce my agenda
Her: So you haven’t found work experience either
Me: I tried my best I got turned down by so many places it caused me a lot of stress and I’m upset about it tbh I think it has affected my attendance (idc really I never looked)
Her: I completely understand did your teachers help?
Me: My teachers are great they tried to help me but we couldn’t find it, I felt so bad about letting them down and the idea of getting shouted at for not finding it too made me not want to come in so it affected my attendance on Mondays(bs)

Me: Life or college
Her: Whatever
Me: To be the best, I joined my boxing club my aim was to be the best at the club, I joined my football team my aim was to be the best player on the team, I joined this college my aim is to be the best student and get the best results, My objectives are clear to be the best at everything I do

she said I was an intelligent, kind and pleasant person she really wants me to stay in the college and to come see her anytime I want if I have any problems

I say I will try to make my attendance better even tho it’s not affecting my grades I got an A on the last big exam in the class but still
