How is S&M Surfin the Highway hardcover sent?

I'm planning on buying the hardcover of S&M Surfing the Highway, but I'm a bit afraid the book will get damaged in transportation over here (I'm from Belgium). Can someone who already bought the book, tell me how this is sent, and if it is well protected? Thanks!

Well, mine came in a thin paper package with a rip in it. No bubble wrap. No box. A paper parcel with my address and a 2-inch tear. I wasn't happy, but the book was undamaged, save a bent corner. I hope my other one is sent with more care...

(Telltale, I'm looking at you. This is a priceless work. Send it with more care!)

When did you order that? I may be wrong, but you might have ordered before they switched to a different company for this sort of thing. That doesn't sound like the way I received my book, though I bought a bunch of other stuff with it.

Well, the one that came in the paper package was ordered on August 9. The other one I ordered on August 26, so will that one come in a box?

I also ordered a bunch of other stuff with both of mine, the one that came I got the Eisner special with the DVDs and the animated DVD, and the other one I bought 2 case files and the soundtrack combo with.

But, yeah, I wasn't happy, but at least everything arrived!

Mmm, this doesn't sound very comforting :(. I'd hate for this nice book to arrive dameged. Some other experiences from those who ordered only the book?

I seen them both at comi con and Pax and they were shrink wrapped..I got mine from Purcell himself. But they should be shrinkwrapped.

When my second one came it was in a tough card package with bubble wrap and was packed really tight. I was very happy with that, an improvement!

I ordered the bundle, not just the book. It came in a sturdy paper envelope with bubble wrap, and each item was plastic-wrapped as well. The book was in perfect condition, no damage whatsoever.
I only live in Canada, though, so it's MUCH closer.

Yeah, as long as I hear the book comes in a bubble envelope, I'm not going to order it. Chances of receiving it damaged are way too high, then.

LatinAmerica, Chile, I think its come in a good Bubble Wrap, and come with no damage. I don't remember it really well, but all the stuff comes just fine.
