Does anyone know what a stoneman is? Is a stoneman like a walker you get bitten and you turn into one of those thing?

They are people with an extreme case of greyscale when greyscale eventually affects the brain it drives them mad, they just have to touch you to infect you though I'm not entirely sure if they do bite.
Jorah had a bite on his arm when he saved Tyrion.
Watch the spoilers buddy, I don't think it was a bite though they just have to touch you, it might've been a bite though I don't know.
