Freezing after death
Hi, I have an annoying problem in which the game freezes at the "you are dead" screen each time I die, and when I press the X button to continue I start to hear the sound of the game playing, but the picture stays on the death screen. Then I have to press the option button and choose to return to the main menu and start the game all over again (from the beginning of the episode, not from the chapter I reached).
I did not, however, encounter this problem the first time I beat the game, it's only when I started playing it for the second time, with a different save file, that this problem started appearing.
The game that I'm playing is the digital version of the full game.
I hope that you can help me solve this problem. Thanks.

I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you. Can you please clarify if you are currently playing the game while connected to the internet, or disconnected? Also, have you made sure to download and install the latest update available for the game?
I'm connected to the internet when playing. And I have the latest update installed.
My apologies, can you please clarify how many save slots you are currently using in-game? Do you currently have one slot full and are using a second slot, or do you have more than two save slots with save files on them?
One save slot is full, and I'm using a second save slot.
It's like this, I played season one and finished it, then I played the second season and finished it, all with no problems. So the first save slot has episode 5 of season 2 saved on it.
Now, I'm trying to play both seasons a second time with different choices. So far, I managed to complete the first season without facing any problems. And now the second save slot has a picture of the after-credit scene from S01E05. And save slots 3 and 4 are empty.
So now, when I start to play the season 2 using save file 2, I start to have the problem described in my first post.
I hope this clarify my situation.
Thank you for providing the extra information. We have received a small amount of reports from players experiencing this particular issue, and are currently investigating further into the root cause of the issue. Unfortunately at this time, the only workaround is to upload your saves to the Playstation Online Storage if you have the ability to, and start a new game. Or you can delete the Save Data for the game from the Storage Management menu on your PS4's Settings menu, and start a new game in Season Two re-importing your second save slot from Season One.
I followed your second suggestion, and now the problem is gone! Thanks a lot man!
You're welcome, I hope you are now able to enjoy the game!
