He shouldn´t even be concerned with this, realistically. First and foremost, he had absolutely no proof (though he felt his suspicion was justified considering her strange behaviour lately). But that brought him back to his second problem: he had no reason to be upset in the first place.
Who cares if she´s found someone? It´s not as if he has any rights to her. She´s not a possession to keep, a prize to be earned. She´s her own person, with her own life and feelings and he has no right to feel entitled to anything she could give him. He doesn´t even know why he´s feeling this way when they didn´t have anything with each other.
