Achievement does not unlock
Hi there,
i have downloaded and installed the fourth episode today and started playing...after a little while the achievement for finishing the second chapter popped as it should. I was wondering if i did not notice the one for completing chapter 1 so i checked the achievements and it is still locked. I restarted the game and played the first chapter again, but nothing...xbox one hard reset 2 times and replayed the first chapter...still locked. Created a second new savefile and replayed the first chapter for the 5th time and still nothing

I sincerely apologize for any difficulties this has caused. We have released an update that will resolve this particular issue, and we are awaiting for it to be released/made available by Microsoft. It should go live in the near future.
Will this require a play through again, or will the achievement unlock on it's own?
I have this exact same issue.
I believe the update will make the Achievement available to unlock. You will only need to play through Chapter 1 of Episode 4 in order to unlock the Achievement.

The first chapter's achievement won't pop. I've played it more than once and it isn't even marked as pending. I tried turning off the console and starting the episode over, but neither helped.
Same thing happened with me, I'm on Xbone btw.
Are you experiencing this on Xbox One like KennyIsGordonFreeman mentioned?
Yes, sorry for not mentioning it. I forgot the series was also on 360. It does not appear to be the common delayed achievement issue, as that always marks them as completed or pending in some way. I am up to chapter four now and the others popped no problem. I've played chapter one five times now and still nothing.
A quick search showed I'm not alone. Seems like quite a lot of folks are having this issue.

i also am having issues with this... but unfortunately it is in chapter 7 of episode 4, i have the achievements for all other chapters including completing the episode just fine but not the last episode, and honestly i have no interest in replaying the whole entire episode again to get something i already should have credit for, it destroys the fun of making and sticking to your decisions.. as a season pass holder for all other tell tale games ive not very pleased about this
The patch/update to resolve this particular issue was released on Friday. After you have downloaded this update you will only need to rewind to the beginning of Chapter 7, then play through the end of the episode, and the Achievement will unlock successfully!
Xbox 360 user Downloaded the update last friday and tried restaring console while signed in etc still can't unlock chapter one achievement for ep 4 replayed from beginning of first episode all the way through and still no result. This message is not meant to troll or agrivate. meerly point out the issue still isnt resolved for all parties and as always im sure we all appreciate the feed back weve been recieving. Hoping a speedy resolution to this issue.
My apologies, the update for this particular issue has not yet been released on Xbox 360. We hope for it to go live soon, and I will make sure to update this thread when it does go live.
