We're thrilled to officially welcome @kenjisalk (aka Nathan) on board today as our new community manager!

Some of you might have noticed Nathan already for his unusually rapid promotion to modship on the forums here. Job and I actually met him at PAX South earlier this year, and as we got to know him better over the following months, it turned out he was exactly what we were looking for in a new community person.

He's an all-around great dude, super into videogames and Telltale stuff, and I just know you guys are going to like him as much as we do! Please join us in welcoming Nathan to the Telltale team. :)

    Thanks everyone! Insanely excited to be part of the team!

    Telltale games are really special, combining so many awesome things I'm incredibly passionate about. I'm unbelievably thankful and ecstatic to get to work with such an outstanding community (y'all are just so freaking friendly, funny, talented, a bunch of other words) as TTG continues to put out some of gaming's best.

    As a stupidly enthusiastic fan, this is a dream come true!

    Huh. That website has some interesting quotes.

    indecisive abusive leadership hides their incompetence by punishing and firing staff for problems that originate with the executives bad decision making and worse communications skills

    Product reviews are horrendous and extremely long and painful meetings where feedback from anyone other than execs is pointless. It's never a discussion about how to improve the game.

    Fear-inducing attitude and childish behavior by execs ruins every attempt at creating a stable, trusting, and collaborative process to create games.

    Bonuses for episodes being released on time but no bonuses for episode quality -- this incentivizes people to take shortcuts and then blame each other when an episode doesn't come out on time

    Which are put against quotes like this:

    There's no "seasonal" mentality where people are hired and fired from project to project, and there aren't any blocked websites or administrators watching your traffic

    I've been at Telltale a little less than a year and have watched the company grow quite a bit both on the Administrative and Product teams side.

    Those quotes are really the most in depth the positive reviews get. The second one goes a bit more in depth, and describes areas of growth, but really, I don't see as many significant positive reviews as negative ones. I wonder why that is.
