Wish I waited for it to be available threw Apple app store!!!
I am a huge Borderland fan and when I saw that I could get "Tales..." for Mac OS I immediately had to download it and play. Imagine if you can how upset I am having had the whole weekend to myself that after I paid (Amazon) and DL'ed the game I was not allowed to log in to services.telltalegames.com threw the game. I do not and would not use "Steam" as I know there lack of security controls. And since I prefer to play the game single user that was not an issue.
What make matters worse I have confirmed my account is active and working as I can log into my "telltalegames.com" account without issue.
At this point I am ready to request a refund and wait for it to be available threw Apple's app store or not play it at all.

Well after doing a lot of research it turn out there is a major bug in the login screen... DO NOT CLICK on the "Login" button only press the Enter/Return Key on your keyboard after entering your email and password. This lets you log in. If you click the button an additional ascii character seems to be added and so your are informed that your auth info is incorrect.
Well the saga continues!
I finally got it to connect to the server which allows me to play but now the game is crashing at the same set of seines (the race) in different places every time. At this point I have seen this part some 10 times before I gave up and will try again to get some attention for all the bugs we are seeing. BTW I hate PAYING to be a beta tester!!!!
I have tried changing graphic resolutions; I've tried 5 different ones. And I have tried removing many background tasks. What would you suggest now?!?!?

FRUSTRATED!!!!
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. Here are a few possible solutions:
1) Restart your computer
2) Play the game with your computer disconnected from the internet
3) If your Mac has multiple graphics cards, go to your system preference and click on ‘energy saver’. Uncheck ‘Automatic Graphics Switching’ and this will make sure your Mac is using your more powerful graphics card.
4) Try playing the game with no other programs running in the background
5) Reinstall the game
If the issue persists after trying these above suggestions, can you please clarify if you have tried playing it in both Full Screen Mode, and Windowed Mode? Also, are you currently playing the game using a keyboard and mouse, or third-party input device such as a gamepad or wireless keyboard?
