Action circle disappeared after the latest update on 9 July
The grey action circle just disappear after the latest update. It makes the game unplayable. I don't know where to click to pick up an item without this circle. I have tried to change the setting between standard and minimal but still cannot have the problem fixed.

Could you clarify which Episode you experienced this in? Also, are you not seeing any notification circles on any objects in any of the scenes of an episode?
I was in episode 1. The problem stays even when I move on to episode 2.

Edit: Are you currently connected to a WiFi network connection when starting the game to ensure you have received the latest internal patches from our servers? (This will be done in the background when starting the game app while connected to the internet) Also, could you possibly take a screenshot of where you are seeing the issue occurring? (For iOS devices, you can take a screenshot at any time by pressing the Home button, and Lock button at the same time)
I took the screenshot but I cannot find the option to post it here using iPhone 6 plus.
I even deleted the app and re-downloaded the app and all available episodes via wifi but the problem stayed.
The game is just unplayable without the action circle. Please help to fix this.
Edit: the action and/or notification circles for object disappeared.
Edit 2: I deleted the app and reinstall it the third time. This time I didn't install episode 2-4. The action/notification circles are back (in episode 1)! Now what am I supposed to do? I think installing / having installed one of the episodes after this latest update has caused this issue.
I found out why:
Having episode 3 and/or 4 installed are the cause of the problem (after the recent update). The action/notification circle is back once episode 3 and 4 are deleted.
This is as much as I could do to find out what causes were. Please investigate and fix this issue ASAP.
Thread: Action Icon Texture Corrupt and Menu Hitboxes Broken
I'm currently playing on an iPad mini 2, iOS 8.3. All current episodes downloaded.
The action icon texture appears to be corrupted and replaced with a black square which in some scenes and contexts is near impossible to see which leads to frustrating moments of trying to figure out what to do. It primarily appears in combat/action scenes.
Another issue that I have encountered is that the selection area/hitbox in menus is extremely out to the point where I could not exit the audio/gameplay menu in game and had to close the app. Some conversations also suffer this where I have had to press well below the second row of options to be able to select the conversation that I wanted.
I can post screenshots of the corrupted action icon when I encounter it next if you like but again, it only appears to be in combat situations.
Additional information: action icon corruption appears in all Episode 1 combat scenes. Has appeared in the first combat scene of Episode 2. Menu selection area issue appears to be consistent in the codex (return to previous menu was halfway up the screen compared to the bottom where it should have been) and in the audio/gameplay menu it could not be selected at all. I can attempt to replicate this issue and record footage of it too.

Hey there. I installed this game yesterday (7/10/15) and am running the most updated software (1.6 I think) an an iPhone 5 with the latest OS. That part where your friend flips the table? That's where I get stabbed each time. Reading the boards people are talking about some circle that appears that I'm supposed to touch but that circle never appears. Nothing does. Supposedly this big was fixed months ago. What's up? Love the game but can't play it
Update: I deleted and reinstalled and that problem was fixed. Only thing is I'm seeing black squares instead of target circles now. So... More playable than before certainly, but something is still amiss.

I have the same black square problem in episode 2 battle scenes (Not in episode 1 that I have finished before the update, maybe the reason ?) on iPhone 6, iOS 8.4. Also in other scenes there is no indicator at all, I have to touch everything to know if I can interact with it. "Display Style" option is put on "Standard". Also later in episode 2, I was blocked with Mira Forrester in front of a door with no indication, I tried everything without sucess...

Thread: Can't get Mira Forrester to enter Tyrion's room, episode 3
Hello. In episode 3 when Mira is about to enter Tyrion's room to find the Ironwood decree, i cannot get Mira to proceed. The camera just bounces around when i touch the screen. I try holding and moving forward but nothing works. I'm playing on an iphone 5. Any help would be appreciated.

I get to The Wall scene right before Gared is supposed to take his vows. When it cuts to Gared, we are supposed to make him walk towards the tree to take his vows but it won't let me make him walk. I've made other characters walk in the game but he will NOT move. Idk what's wrong. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it won't work. Please help
I have the same problem on my iPad mini 2, but reinstalling did not fix it...
So the game is currently unplayable for me. I cannot get past the start of the first flight scene in episode 2.
I figured out the circle is supposed to appear on the chair, when I tapped the chair Asher kicked it - so he didn't die this time!

Thread: Game of thrones iOS missing white circles
There was a recent update for the game on iOS But unfortunately it just made the game way worse. I've played 4 telltale titles on iOS and never have I experienced so many bugs as I have with thrones, but generally I could quick restart the game and the bugs either fixed themselves or I'd repeat the process and wait until it did. It was mildly annoying but I love the game so I wasn't to bothered. So when I saw an update for the game I got pretty excited because it stated it would fix misc bugs. That excitement quickly dissipated when I discovered the game was completely unplayable now. Most of the white circles in the game, to you know do anything are gone. I've done the usual troubleshooting to try and fix it but it seems permanent. Sometimes you could just click the screen until it triggered but I'm currently stuck in a situation where I can't open a door to further the plot because there is no white circle. Soooo yeah can't play the game anymore. I'm not the only one either. The games star reviews on iOS have plummeted because everyone seems to have the same problem I'm having. So in short HELP! IM STUCK!

Also, using iPad Air the alignment of Episodes in Episode section is a mess, now they are unreadable.
I have this problem getting Gared to move in episode 3 and episode 4. I only have one episode installed at a time due to limited space on my iPad and am also having the above issues with black squares instead of targets.. Sometimes not even a black square I just hit all over the screen after dying 10 times and manage to fake my way through. Currently stuck unable to move Gared forward under the cart in Castle Black in episode 4. He won't crawl forward to hide and Frosty shoots him in the neck over and over and over again. Getting sick and tired of dying now! Please fix whatever is wrong with making the characters walk/crawl forwards!
Same thing here: white circles are either gone or replaced by black squares and the episodes list is also messed up. Additionally, the select/click sound in the main menu has disappeared. It's impossible to play the game now; hopefully this gets corrected before episode 5 is out.
@Ali_Neama My apologies, if your Episodes screen is not displaying correctly, please try closing out of the game by pressing the Home Button on your iPad, then double tap the Home Button, and swipe up on Game of Thrones to fully close out of the game app. The next time you start the game app, the Episodes menu should then update to display correctly.
I have made sure to pass all of your information along to the team. They are currently investigating into the issue, and I hope to have more information on an update soon.

I started episode 4 and when ever I was locked in the storage room as Gared it wouldn't show me what to pick up. It just showed a black square. I tryed restarted my Iphone, but it didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I don't want the black squares to show up when I play episode 5 when it comes out.

After the last update you cant see the selectables during fight scenes and have to guess where to click to not die during a quicktime event. And on the ipad there are black squares where the selectables should be. I have already deleted and downloaded the app again both on iphone 5 and ipad air but the problem still persists. Would be nice if anyone could check that out and maybe update the app so that i can play episode 5 without problems when it releases.

I play this game on iOS and am at the part in Episode 2 where Mira is standing in front of a room with the door cracked open. There are no options to advance the story and Mira is just stuck here. Please advise, thanks!
I did , still the same. I am checking episodes section multiple times everyday (waiting for episode 5), and the alignment issue happened only after the last update.
My apologies, could you please clarify if you are still able to select the episodes, and use that menu, or does the overlapping text block your use of the menu?
Yeah i have the same problem even after reinstalling the app several times. Thanks for working on it and i hope its fixed soon so i can play it again.
I can use the menu and select episodes, it is just a layout issue.
We believe to have resolved this issue. Please try starting the game application now (if you are already running it, double tap the Home button, and swipe up on the app to fully close it then restart it) and make sure you are connected to a WiFi network connection. Once you reach the 'Tap to Begin' screen, tap the screen, and you will connect to our servers and receive the internal update file that resolves this issue.
The action circle is back! Thank you for fixing this. But the game crashes very often. I have to close the game and / or restart my phone (iPhone 6 plus) a few times before I can load my saves.
By the way, the words in episodes screen are still overlapping.
Thanks the action circles are back, but the circles you have to click at the right moment (for example when you clink glasses with beskha) are still invisible... I hope you can fix this too cause i really like this game but it's unplayable right now..

i just played the beginning of episode 2 now cause its really not that fun to play it with these bugs. but i believe the problem with these circles missing persists throughout the episodes. i also noticed that the rewind screen and the game over screen dont look how they should. i hope i could clarify my problem. i appreciate you answering to comments and taking care of our problems. i hope you're able to find and fix the problem. thank you in advance.

Currently i just have episode 1 & 2 installed but the problem with the circles missing also showed up when i had every episode including 5 installed. Dont know about the game over and the rewund screen though.
