Choices not carrying over on 360.
My choices aren't carrying over from EP1. I've tried re-playing the episode, re-downloading EP2, re-downloading and re-installing the patch, playing without the patch, and clearing my system's cache. I'm on a 360 and playing offline. I was never actually shown my choices from EP1, like you see them at the end of TWD/TWAU, either.

Welcome to the buggy world of GOT on Xbox and don't expect Telltale to do anything they still haven't fixed episode 1's bug where choices don't appear and it's been 2 months.
My xbox 360 worked fine honestly, I know the xbox 1 is bugged as heck
Same here, though the only bug I have on the 360 is occasional skipping of dialogue and music.
My sincerest apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately if you are playing the game while offline, your choices will not be recorded onto your Stats/Choices page. Can you please clarify if after completing Episode 1, that you received an on-screen message that said 'Go Online to See your Stats/Choices"? Also, your choices should be carried over to the next episode successfully. If they are not, I recommend try playing through the last part of Episode 1 (part 6) while online, and logged into your Xbox Live profile, and your choices should then be properly recorded/carried over to Episode 2.
Yes, I received that message, but I thought saves were stored locally? Why do I have to be logged in for my choices to transfer to the next episode? My console is connected to the internet at all times, but I am usually not logged into XBL and when I do log in, my save file disappears. For the record, I also bought the game on the PS3 and the choices issue is happening there, as well.
When you sign into your Xbox Live account, your saves will not be found because save games are tied to the Profiles they are played on. If you are not signed into an Xbox Live Profile, those saves can only be seen when not signed in. If you are also not seeing choices carry over on PS3, can you please clarify if you are connected to the internet via a wireless internet connection, or a wired connection? Also, what region/country are you currently located in?
So are Telltale's games online-only now? In another thread, you said save files were stored locally. So shouldn't the game read my choices even if I can't see them at the end of each episode? I don't really mind the missing choices screen as along as the game records my choices.
Both my 360 and my PS3 are connected via a wireless connection and I'm in the USA. I don't play logged in to XBL or PSN. On the 360, I own the Season Pass and downloaded the episodes when they were initially released. On the PS3, I don't have the Season Pass and downloaded the first and second episodes when the second episode was released.
Unfortunately at this time, you must be online and logged in for your choices to carry over. We are currently looking into the issue.
I really hope you guys will fix this for people like me who don't like to play logged in. I love the game and I'd like to be able to play it my own way.

There was a Title Update made to the game so that you can track your Stats/Choices in-game while offline. Please make sure that you connect to the internet and sign into your Xbox Live profile, and download the latest Title Update for the game. After you do so, you can rewind to the last part of Episode 1, then play through the end again, and your choices will be successfully carried over into Episode 2 without having to be connected to the internet for them to carry over. After you have downloaded the Title Update, you can play the rest of the game Offline.

So how can I get a refund. I've been reading faqs and threads for hours and you Telltale has NOT resolved issue. It's been going on since release, and it's sad cause I love the game. Ive tried online, offline, and replayed chapter 2 three times now! It's stuck on default decsions. You sold me a broken game, and ive tried, hours of trying! And I just want a refund. So how do I go about this?
Or can I just somehow go online and set my decisions (this would be smart).
I'm so tired of buying broken games. Glitches ok. But errors that completely ruin the purpose of the game? I'm at a loss. Please advise.

I am always online, though. How do I get the latest title update? I thought those downloaded automatically. I searched game of thrones on xbox marketplace and only found episodes.
Also I'm confused by reading your replies. So do I want to play online for it to work? Or offline? Again i Am always online. I will disconnect to fix problem though.
Do I need to delete everything? Please be very specific in your response. Ive replayed episode 2 three times, so I am upset. I just want to know exactly step by step how to fix. Then I'll post if this indeed works.
With the buggy system yall have implemented. I would ask you suggest a simple system at the end of each episode where you have multiple choices, and you can just change any choice by selecting before continuing. This approach may alleviate some of the stress your faithful consumers go thru by not having to spend hours replaying entire episodes just to see if maybe, just maybe, the work around actually works. Afterall, Telltale released the buggy game, I shouldn't have to spend hours trying to get it to work right. I did buy it.

I am always online. So how can I tell if the title update is indeed updated? Do I need to search for it manually?
Ok. And playing online, connected to telltale account, no matter how many times I play thru episode 2 my choices will not change. I always kiss the shiny ring. And I always tell on cotter for stealing. Ibe never chose either of these. When trying the episode again, I always start at the 3rd checkpoint. Not from the actual begining and play to the end. Them I check my choices and they never update.

Once you have started the game while connected to the internet and logged into your Xbox Live profile, you should receive the latest update available for the game, and be prompted to download it before starting the game. Then after this you should be able to start the game. When you reach the 'Press Start to Continue' screen, and press the start button, the game will then start, and any internal sync data with our servers should download in the background. After you have reached the main menu connected to the internet, and logged into your Xbox Live account, you should from that point on be able to play the game offline, as you have fully updated the game.
You should then be able to rewind to the last chapter/checkpoint in Episode 1, then replay through the end, and your choices will then carry over correctly. (Please make sure that if you are using multiple save slots, that you have the correct one with the choices you would like to carry on with, selected, when completing the end of Episode 1.)
One more thing I thought of. I make a copy of save, and play from the copy. Is it possible my choices are be overwritten from my original save that's been uploaded to the telltale online account?

Thank you for your help. After update (which nine already had) I went offline. It makes me think that there is a problem with the linked online account overwriting decisions.
Anyway, I do think it is important to note that the choices in the episode you are having problems with will not update under the "my choices" menu until you actually start the next episode and save! Meaning you won't know if going offline helps by looking at the "my choices" menu. Only by starting the next episode and allowing a save did the choices update.

Saves are not uploaded or stored online at this time. All save files for Game of Thrones exist in-game. If you've made a copy of a save file, it should include all of the saves that you have made so far in that save file, and be copied over to the new save slot that you choose.
