I was the same way when I played BL2 for the first time, I just ran in and tried to kill everyone and usually ended up wasting my ammunition, needless to say I died a lot in the beginning (especially against Boom and Bewm). As you play more and more, you get a lot more experienced, you start planning ahead, managing your ammunition and money better, and it becomes (somewhat) easier. I haven't played BL1, but I plan on doing it once my computer is fixed and I finish the BL2 DLC's, and then after that I plan on doing the Pre-Sequel.
I'm playing as Roland, and I do find the game to be very fun
It's challenging for sure, especially as I tend to run in without thinking … more(and single player is tougher anyways cuz you have no allies to soak up damage or help you) but I'm getting there slowly :P

We can't survive outside of Helios so we wrap some punchos on ours arms and head (???) so we won't die. After, the group and I we're going too Pandora's moon... (THE END) I got an explination too my dream... actually I was laughing in my bed because of a fanfiction of SweetBigWolf (yes it's SweetBigWolf and not BigBadWolf).
