Stuck at Close Up View of De Cava's files

I'm looking at Coto De Cava's files, and I don't know how to get out of the close up view. I've tried walking in different directions, but that doesn't help. What am I doing wrong?

    Normally, you should be able to get out of a close-up by clicking anywhere in the picture with your mouse. Have you tried that?

    I tried that, but it didn't work. I did discover a cool trick though. If you hold down the left mouse button, you will see a circle with an arrow. Keep holding down the left mouse button and move the arrow with the mouse. Guybrush will go in the direction the arrow is pointing at a fast pace.
