How do you lose a North Grove?
I think the key here is that "the North Grove cannot be lost". Who/what might we lose it to, and who/what was protecting it before Gared? Why does he need to prevent it from being "lost" now when apparently no one cared about it before the red wedding, and no one but Duncan even know about it?

Oh well I didn't even think about that. Perhaps the Wildings who went to search for it actually are there and may prevent you from using it/living there/whatever other theory there is?
I think they mean not let it be lost from history. like always pass it down to someone
Then poor Gared is wasting his life, and y would Gregor tell us not to tell about it to anyone but Duncan?
Ramsay will probably reach it before Gared does.
