game of thrones ep 5 sound not working properly
the episode 5 of game of thrones on xbox one isnt working properly when fighting theres no sound like there should be when swords clank together and when in the fighting pit the crowd re cheering but you cant hear them.

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you ever reach a point in the episode and the sounds are not playing properly, please try exiting to the main menu, then rewind to the previous chapter/checkpoint before reaching that point in the episode, and you should then be able to hear the game's sounds correctly.
If the issue persists, please also try turning your Xbox One off, then back on again, and try rewinding once more.

If you still experience the issues, you may have received an incomplete or corrupted download file of the episode. I recommend try deleting the downloaded episode file from your Manage Downloads section on your console following the steps in This Microsoft Support Page, then re-download the episode from the in-game Episodes menu. Then before starting the episode, try turning your Xbox off, and back on again. Then start the game and your issue should be resolved.
I too am experiencing no sound effects on xbox one. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the game, etc. Is there anything else we should try?
Had the same issue here on PS4. Sound fx disappeared on pit fight and continued for next scene with walkers. We deleted the download file, but then just went to continue on GofT for chapter 5 and it's all fine now.
No idea what happened there as surely it should have been deleted, but it wasn't. PS4 says it's still re-dowloading the new episode, but it's playing fine.
I don't know wtf is going on, ask me about spinach, I can tell whats going on there. Technology, not so much.
We have found that if you experience sound effects missing in-game, that exiting out of the game back to the Xbox Dashboard (make sure to fully close the game application), then re-entering it and rewinding to the previous chapter/checkpoint before reaching that point in the episode, you should then be able to hear the game's sounds correctly.
The file you deleted may have been the 'Update File' and not the 'Episode File' itself. Either way, thank you for the information. I'll make sure to pass it along to the team.
